Read moreThis is my third day here with my partner. The night we arrived, we were impressed by the way it was done from the outside. Then we were guided to our room by a friendly guy, until I time told him we ran out of cash and I will tip him the next day. He suddenly got cranky and left without saying anything. Not a good first impression. The room was also disappointing, besides from the beautiful view, everything looks cheap and the bathroom is outdated. br/The food is okay, but not warm, most of the staff in the restaurant are not very friendly. Just doing their job, that's it.The staff at the bar are very unfriendly, they hardly look at you when you order something, last night I ordered two drinks, he just gave me what I ordered just looked at me in a very arrogant way. After that my partner ordered a gin tonic and twice they gave him something else. Later we found out the were out of tonic, without telling us. I hope the rest of the week will be better then this. A few days later, the food got better. We changed to the pool bar during the day and they are very friendly. But the service at the bar that's open at night got worse. We had to talk to the manager, because especially one guy was so rude to us, the manager is very nice and apologized, hope things will be better now. After the manager spoke to the staff, everything got so much better! Yesterday we went to the spa, we paid €100,- each, which is a lot of money, we were promised a lot, but we only got half they promised and we paid upfront, wich was stupid. We complained with the guy who promised us everything. Now we are getting one hour extra with all the promises he made. The last few days we were getting along very well with the entertainment team. We had some good conversations and fun nights with them. We never went back to the spa. We didn't trust them anymore. The last few days in the resort were fine, finally everyone understood that it's important to be friendly with all the guests. But we will never go back here. A 5 star resort that's maybe worth 3 stars. We have been to a lot of places but never had an experience like...
I spent 9 nights at Radisson Blu El Quseir and overall had a very positive experience. The hotel offers a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, ideal for those looking to truly unwind.
The hotel itself is slightly dated—for example, the room doors use traditional keys instead of card locks—but this didn’t bother us at all. In fact, it added to the charm. The hotel grounds are absolutely beautiful and very well maintained. Everywhere you look, flowers are blooming. One lovely surprise was discovering a large vegetable garden behind the guest houses, which I assume is used for the hotel’s kitchen. That was a nice touch.
The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, frequently checking in to make sure everything was okay. Reception staff were also responsive and helpful throughout our stay.
The buffet was tasty, although not extremely varied—but that suited me just fine. I actually prefer a smaller, curated selection rather than being overwhelmed by too many choices.
Our room was spacious and decorated in a traditional Arabic style. We were lucky to get a room on the first row with a terrace and a stunning view of the sea and sunsets. The entertainment was light and cheerful, never intrusive. It’s the perfect place for a quiet vacation—though teenagers might find it a bit too calm.
The sea was pleasant for swimming, with some corals and fish to see, though I had hoped the marine life would be a bit more vibrant. I recommend wearing water shoes, as I saw many sea urchins near the shore and once even spotted a sea snake, which, according to the internet, is venomous—so caution is advised.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a serene and authentic Egyptian Red Sea experience. It's a little too far from Hurghada Airport, but if you travel to Marsa Alam, I guess, it would...
