Nobody was expecting us. The room was not clean. There were a lot of dead flies and mosquitos and even bird poop on the beds. No bed linen, just plain duvets. There was hair from previous guests everywhere on the beds and in the bathroom. The place felt like nobody visited for weeks, with cobwebs everywhere on the outdoor furniture. We did not expect a sparkling clean hotel room, we understand a camp has flies and can't be kept 100% clean. But this was easy to catch.

Had a really enjoyable though brief stay here. The owner Habib was really friendly and accommodating, letting me pitch up my own tent and charging a very reasonable price, as well as giving me a lift in and out of town.
Which is the one thing to keep in mind - it’s a short distance away from the town and temple so you’ll need a motor of sorts to get you to and from the camp..
They also arranged transport for me at 4am to get to the temple for the sun festival so they will certainly help.
