So, I've spent two days in this hotel, and the short version of this review is that it was a nice experience overall. Now to the long version: for starters, all the basics, like plumbing, hot water, AC, lights, tv, and hygiene products are available. This should not be a shock, as this is supposedly a 4-star hotel, but I had to mention them anyway because Egypt. The room was clean, the sheets were crisp, the blankets were soft, the pillows were fluffy, the mattresses were firm, and it all adds up a comfortable sleeping experience. In addition to that, the window and balcony isolate the noise well, but completely. The balcony is small, though, and the view is not the best out there. The bathroom was clean with nice, clean towels, soap, shampoo, and showerjel. The hallways, corridors, and lounge are all clean and calm .. really calm. The place has a restaurant, a conference room, rooftop cafeteria, and a children's play area that is closed and looks like it's been closed for a while now. Speaking of the restaurant, the food was good, but I should mentioned I only tried breakfast, which is included with the room, and is made up of many items like salad, cheeses, deli meat, tea, juice, marmalade, yogurt, mini danish cakes and patés and fava beans which were constantly bland and had no salt bags included. I mean I know I could've asked for them, but they should've put them there. The pricing is reasonable giving the level of comfort this place provides. Quick facts: 1. The place has laundry 2. The place does not serve alcohol 3. The room had a table, a wardrobe, a couple of mirrors and a nightstand 4. The place does have parking, but I think that's part of the parking space for the residential complex this hotel is connected to and not a dedicated one 5. The place does have wifi 6. There is a slot in the room in which you should insert you key card to use the electricity 7. The room came with a mini bar. Finally, if I haven't bored you half to death so far, the the service staff are nice, polite, helpful and don't really ask for a huge tip. Overall, I liked the stay, and definitely recommend the place. Also, before I forget, you can either have breakfast at the open buffet, or order it...
Read moreThis hotel is being renovated.Although it is very dusty, the room itself is very comfortable, well serviced and clean. The staff are very friendly, helpful and speak English. There is WiFi in the rooms and it is a stable connection. The breakfast is very average and sort of the same thing every 2 days. The food in the restaurant is pretty good for the price you pay however service is slow. I stayed there for 8 days and used the laundry service which was excellent and compared to most hotels very cheap. I would definitely stay in this hotel on my next...
Read moreExcellent in everything and Fair in Food. The room was strangely comfortable, has everything one can need. Carefully equipped with all the necessary items and the A/C was perfectly working and I had no problem with it putting in mind the room space. Room service were excellent too. I liked the food ordered to my room but the Breakfast can be improved. Location is great and has a lot of restaurants around if you needed to. A hospital and two pharmacies at least are around. I enjoyed my two nights stay and If I came back to Assiut, I’ll definitely stay...
