I had used booking.com to book a room for me and my husband for 5 hours as we were catching flight at midnight and it seemed to be close to the airport. However, while booking i must have mistakenly selected 1 person instead of 2 person. after arriving at the hotel, we checked in. The front desk manager took my passport, payment etc. Some section of this hotel is under construction and my room was next to such rooms with cement on the corridor as well as little bit in my room. there was no intercom so i went down to reception to ask for another room. He asked me why i didnt like the room and i actually had to tell him that there is sand, cement on the corridor and inside my room and hence i dont want the room. The next room was also similar. Then after 15 minutes of being in room Mr, Ahmed Hemadi -manager said that my husband has to wait in lobby as it was paid only for 1 person. 0 professionalism and 0 customer centric attitude. His approach to whole thing was wrong and he didnt understand what he did wrong. its matter of just few dollars but the way whole thing happened left a very bad taste. My husband demanded to see the owner who let his deaf ears hear all this. On 3rd attempt he gave me a better room. In any other place, you will politely explain everything...

Overall, it was a pleasant stay and I would come here again.||Regarding the breakfast: As we had attended a big Egyptian wedding the night before, which ended late, I came to the breakfast at 10am, not hungry at all, planning to just have a glass of water with lemon, some plain yoghurt and coffee. Maybe a banana or other fruit. As it turned out, none of these was offered, except for Nescafe in little sachets. In fact, 30 minutes until the end of the breakfast, even the foul was finished. However, there was cheese, bread, jam, etc. I had...
Read moreThe hotel is one of the cheapest in Heliopolis, so I didn't expect a great service. However, guys at the recept n were friendly and helpful. Sometimes during the day time they were replaced by a lady who was working in jeans and didn't understand English.||||The location is good. Close to the airport. There are mosques, a beautiful church, large supermarket, cafes just 5 minutes to walk. ||||The huge minus is the condition of the rooms. Mine was very very dirty. Bedsheets were dirty. The furniture was all dusty. The floor was never washed. ||||There was no safe box...
