We are a group of 13 friends that travelled from Aswan to Luxor on Sunray boat from Mövenpick. It was a great experience. ||We were all impressed by the quality of the food, everything was good, nice variety.||The rooms are modern, they were recently renovated and are very clean.||The cruise director went out of his way to make sure we were pleased. The first day someone in our group had stomach issues they went above and beyond to prepare a special meal for that person. They made a cake for us to celebrate a birthday. We also made a special request for mulukhiyah and again they went out of their way to make sure our group be served mulukhiyah for dinner.||All the staff were amazing, friendly, very pleasant and extremely helpful. Every day we would come back to our rooms twice a day with towel sculptures incorporating lights and other objects it became a fun topic amongst us comparing our room sculptures and light show!||I highly recommend the Sunray Môvenpick cruise it was an amazing experience, we all had lots of fun and the staff made it a...
Read moreAs someone who has been on several Nile cruises on different cruise ships , this without a doubt is the best cruising experience I have ever had . They literally accommodated us in every way and beyond in every category. Our group had different dietary needs and they prepared special meals that would rival a Michelin 3 star restaurant, outstanding vegetarian meals and specialty herbal teas. The rooms were spotless , the ship was quiet , clean and staff could not do enough to make us happy and welcomed . Khalid the manager was wonderful , chief executive chef was outstanding, Mohamed our waiter was charming and helpful. I am already making arrangements to come back in April. I can’t imagine a better cruising and dining experience, and arranging all our pre and post travel arrangements to and from airport . Thank you again to Movenpick and the entire staff for truly enhancing our trip to Egypt , you have raised our travel bar and doubt that it will be beaten by another cruise...

The boat is very art deco in its style (very Agatha Christie's Poriot) and for our tour the boat was not crowded at all. Our cabin was larger and the bathroom bigger than the Viking boat we had travelled on previously. The lounge and dinning rooms are equally spacious, and the food was excellent and varied, some buffet style and other meals by pre selection. We had an excellent time and can highly recommend it in👍 However there is one downside that we found annoying, the noise made by the boats electricity generator which operates 24hrs a day! Don't they know you can get whisper generators....
