Initially we were surprised by the place where the Bed & Breakfast is located. It is an area totally under construction so a taxi is needed to get around. It is possible to get to the beach but the walk is not among the most beautiful since, as already mentioned, you have to walk in the middle of construction sites. Surely everything will change in a few years but unfortunately at the moment the situation is constantly evolving. After that the initial bad impression was totally replaced by kindness and human warmth. Meshail is a kind-hearted person and always available to the customer. Karim and his assistant are exceptional. Every morning we ate an excellent breakfast, Mishail booked the taxi and we went to the different beaches. With two or three euros you can get anywhere. Remember that you travel here by taxi! The whole city of Marsa Alam is under construction so forget city life and dedicate yourself 100% to the sea. In any case, I really enjoyed taking a walk in the center of the town which is not at all touristy and there are some excellent restaurants where you can eat fish. We chose this Bed & Breakfast because it allowed us to be free, pushing us to learn new things and be in contact with the population. There is no risk of crime here. The tourist is treated with kid gloves although unfortunately you have to pay attention to the prices as they are often raised. A fish dinner costs β¬10 (approx. 350 EP). I highly recommend South Fish which has excellent fish and has local prices. South Lagoon has excellent fish and is on the beach but unfortunately prices increase a bit for tourists. Marsa Fish is also excellent but they are clever with the price (which in any case never exceeds β¬10 each). Remember to think with local prices and not as tourist prices. I believe that it is right that there is an equal price for everyone but you have entered into the philosophy that you want to do a charity work so it is also fine to accept price increases. However, you just need to be aware. I highly recommend the diving experience offered by Deep South diving (instructors are exceptional). our favorite beach is Stargola Camp where we met Ahmed the owner who speaks excellent Italian. Here you can have exceptional lunches. However, I highly recommend you come to Mars Alam because there is not yet mass tourism like other places but unfortunately this will change in the...
Β Β Β Read moreEven Better the Second Time β Thank You, Misho & Fady! Our second stay at La Casa Guest House in Marsa Alam was just as magical as the first β maybe even better. The warm, familiar atmosphere made us feel right at home the moment we arrived. A big thank you to Misho and Fady for their kindness, attention to detail, and for going above and beyond to make our trip unforgettable.
This time, we booked two trips through the guest house: snorkeling in Marsa Mubarak and a desert safari in Wadi El Gemal. Both were incredibly well-organized, with local insight that made the experiences feel authentic and special. The Marsa Mubarak trip was a dream β crystal clear waters, vibrant marine life, and a peaceful vibe. The Wadi El Gemal safari added a beautiful contrast, giving us a taste of the desertβs quiet beauty and Bedouin culture.
Between the relaxing rooftop breakfasts, clean and cozy rooms, and amazing day trips, La Casa remains our go-to in Marsa Alam. Canβt wait to come back again β and thanks again, Misho and Fady, for making it all so easy and memorable! βββββββββββββββ-

The guest house's location is stunning, offering breathtaking views of the Red Sea and easy access to the beach. Overall, my stay at La Casa Marsa Alam Guest House exceeded all expectations, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and...
Β Β Β Read moreI would rate the place as perfect! Really appreciate Fady's support throughout the stay, as well as Karim and Meshail. I felt that I was with my family in a very comfortable place where they cared for you to be happy and do everything in their capacity... Karim always talks to you and advises you on cool places to visit.
My trip was planned based on staying downtown, not a resort. So I can get a feel of the neighborhood, and thus, you can not put high expectations and compare it to the resort style. Marsa Alam is one of the best cities in the world in diving.. advisable to visit by October - November, so it isn't too warm. Marsa Alam doesn't have much public transportation, but Lacasa offers bicycles to use. If you book diving the diving centers pick you up too. There are 2 main streets in Marsa Alam, 68 street and 19 street. Walkable distance from La Casa.
The place is super clean and organized and the amenities were good. There was a mini fridge, tv, AC, water kettle, cutlery, closet and towel. You need to bring the rest of your stuff like shampoo, shower gel, beach towel, toothpaste, etc. It's great compared to the price.
There is an open shaded roof which is aesthetically appealing and you can gather with your friends and sit. Breakfast and dinner are served on the roof and there is Wifi and power outlets there too.
I encountered a problem with a diver, and they managed to fit me in with the best diving center (knowing we're in a high season!). And that changed the whole trip from day 1!
Meshail was very friendly and accommodating.. as I saw him the last 2 days of my stay, he got to know me and offered to drop me off at the bus station.
I would definitely stay here again :) Thank you all for your positivity...
