So, yesterday (25.8), we came back home from the Resort. ||||At first, after reading reviews here, we were scared. When we finally arrived into the Resort, we were, however, honestly surprised and delighted. If it was possible, we would have extended our stay, really. ||||The rooms are spacious, perfectly clean and modern. The electricity works even though nobody is inside the room - therefore, the air conditioning may keep your room cool before you go to sleep. The bed was also huge, and incredibly comfortable. If I had such bed back home, I’d have been the happiest human in the world. ||||The exteriors and even interiors of the resort are just amazing. The personnel is doing their job very well, as the gardens and the plants are maintained perfectly and in the interiors, you won’t find any dirt. I haven’t seen any garbage anywhere in the exteriors as well. ||||The food... Whenever I came into the restaurant, I felt like I was in a fairy tale. A lot of chicken, beef, but especially a lot of seafood. Grilled crabs, shrimps practically every day, sushi, octopus salad and risotto, cooked/grilled fishes, even the local bread. I’ve never tried desserts - and I actually regret it, because they must have been great. ||All the food was tasty and probably the best I’ve eaten in a hotel so far. ||Also, the personnel was super attentive and despite being busy, they actually did jokes and behaved really nice. Special thanks to waiters Karim and Mohamed and cleaner Ahmed (with blue shirt) from the outside part of the restaurant. ||||Talking about food, I should not forget the beverages. Special thanks to friendly Alsayed from the bar by the restaurant, creative and skilled Sheref from the pool bar and all the bartenders from the beach bar. ||||The animation team... Well, the evening shows are mostly in Italian language. That makes sense as most of the visitors are from Italy. They are trying to implement English into the evening shows, so that other visitors have a chance to understand. During the day, I was asked to come and play for example volleyball by the animation team, but didn’t participate as I’m still recovering from a leg injury. There is also a Kids Club, but I didn’t try it out, haha. ||||||Now with the "cons", if I have to call it like that. I don’t think this was a problem for me, but it might be a problem for someone else. ||||The drinking cups are pretty small (200-250 ml). I recommend bringing your own, larger cups. Also, the drinking menu is quite complex, as each bar offers something else. For example, at the beach bar, the only alcoholic beverage is beer. Special drinks are served normally at the pool bar, or by the restaurant. And then, there is the lobby bar, which isn’t part of the all inclusive. If it’s possible to simplify it a bit, I think people would have been happy. ||||Also, the sea... I cannot blame the resort for this. The sea is really one of the best I’ve ever seen, it has wonderful colours and judging by the photos, it really looks as if it was somewhere in Carribean. ||But then, there are the waves. I believe the waves had been as high as 2 meters. The waves were certainly higher than I am (185 cm). I’ve never seen anything like that before. ||The waves are so strong, they may even throw a grown man meters away. Once again, I cannot blame the resort for this as it is just nature, these waves were there for only two days, but when this happens, I wouldn’t recommend swimming to families with children. When there’s the black flag (even red), the waves are really extreme. ||There are at least four lifeguards all the time at the beach, all the time, so if anything happens, you are in safe hands. ||||||Overall, we find our holiday in Caesar Bay Resort excellent. We have so many great memories. ||If the travel agency offers the resort next year, we will be more than happy...

Read more‘Perfect beach & compromised hospitality’
➖ Restaurant is very tight and doesn’t fit the hotel when its full, food selection is very limited, staff is incompetent and lacks proper hospitality training, hygiene is poor, waiters are plate hunting, FoH and BoH are mixed you would be watching service team roaming around tables with dirty refuse can and pour food lift over next to people dining, proper napkins tableware is provided only through dinner for breakfast they only place single tissue on table, no beverages are offered other than soda or not fresh juice, water are served through discepncers, overall feel is very poor and it gets very noisy similar to shopping malls food court experience, queues are very often through breakfast egg or tea counters and also during dinner due to limited choices and restaurant limited size. Restaurant staff are rude and not helpful as they would lie to avoid clearing a table for you claiming that table are not yet available instead of being clear (Osama is one if them)
Italian operator ‘edean village’ is co managing the hotel that created a sense of segregation between italian guests and everyone else they often get better treatment and prime location are reserved for them, italian only signage are everywhere even inside rooms.
House keeping is ver poor and they won’t change your sheets at all, they lie if you ask!
Room furniture is very cheap, TV is super small with bad image quality.
Hotel is very long and you should be prepared to walk alot up an down exhausting ramps rooms with 1000 series are close to the beach while 9000 where I stayed was the farthest.
Animation team was great but theater is ver tight and beach stage doesn’t have adequate number of seating area that I had to stand the entire show one night, no one of the staff offered any assistance.
Beach staff allowed buggies to run next to swimmers which is a great safety compromise.
Main pool is very small and only italian operator has animation team by the pool.
➕ The beach overlooking Mediterranean sea is magical.
Animation team is entertaining and happy Room size is above average fits 2 adults + 2 kids.
You would definitely enjoy your stay if you can ignore the hospitality flaws, which can be greatly improved with...
