Heidi Resort — Hotel in Matruh

Extremely Disorganized and Unreliable – Avoid! I booked with Heidi Resort online and received a confirmation for my stay. After landing in Cairo with my wife and two young children, I was shocked to receive an email on the way to the hotel saying all the rooms were sold out. This completely ruined the start of our vacation.

They already had my money and didn’t offer any alternative accommodation or support. I was left scrambling to find a place last minute in a foreign country with infants — extremely stressful and unacceptable.

Getting my refund was a long, frustrating process. I do not recommend this resort. Completely disorganized, unprofessional, and careless with guests’ time and well-being. Book somewhere else if you want...
