Disappointing Experience Despite Cozy Atmosphere

We stayed at this hotel as a family and initially appreciated the cozy atmosphere and how easily accessible everything was by foot. The setting was nice, and the food options were good and decent enough.

However, a few incidents left us with a very unpleasant impression.

Firstly, one of the four rooms we were checked into had been freshly sprayed with insecticide. The smell was overwhelmingly offensive and clearly not safe for guests. When we raised the issue, we were told that the hotel was fully booked and that the smell would fade within two hours. So we went to the beach for hours, only to return and find the smell still unbearable. Eventually, they did move us to another room—despite earlier claiming there were no other available rooms. Frankly, checking guests into a room filled with pesticide is completely unacceptable and a serious health concern.

Secondly, on my last night, I had a shocking and disgusting experience. The towels that were supposedly freshly placed in the morning in my room were USED. While drying my face, I noticed a filthy odor that made me sick to my stomach—you can imagine how disturbing that was. I immediately asked my roommate to call the reception, but it took them 15 minutes to respond. I had to get out of shower and call myself and explain the situation in detail. The initial response was dismissive, with comments like, “We have plenty of clean towels, I’ll bring one.” — completely missing the gravity of the situation.

Eventually, they tried to make up for it and asked how they could compensate me, but to be honest, nothing can undo the discomfort and disgust of such an incident.

It’s a shame because the hotel has potential, but such serious lapses in hygiene and basic guest care are dealbreakers for me. Would...

The hotel itself is excellent. The staff is friendly, and the food is delicious. The room was clean and spacious. The entire hotel is decorated in a boho style, creating a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. The pool is also clean, with just the right temperature to cool off. However, the beach was disappointing. It was covered in sea weed and debris, making the water murky and difficult to enjoy. To reach the beautiful turquoise water, you have to swim through thick weed and trash, which is quite unpleasant. When we asked a local worker at the hotel why is there so much sea weed and trash, he said it's the northern coast and it’s always like that. I believe the real issue is a lack of proper cleaning and maintenance, which is a huge minus. Please watch the video attached for a clearer picture of the situation.

Update!!! They cleaned the beach a little, made it more acceptable. It still needs work but not bad. Also... Throughout our stay, all staff members at hotel Kynd 01 were very helpful and attentive, but Ibrahim stood out the most. He was always ready to assist us, approaching us in a friendly and professional manner. We also noticed that he speaks English quite well, which made communication even easier. After a brief chat, it’s clear that Ibrahim has extensive experience in the hospitality industry. His dedication and passion for his work are evident, and it definitely didn’t go unnoticed by us or other guests. It’s obvious he knows his stuff and takes pride in what he does. We truly wish him the best in his career and hope to see him again soon – hopefully one day as a manager of a luxury hotel. Keep up the great...

The hotel is beautiful, decorated in a boho style. The room was clean and the mattress was so comfortable. We slept better than at home. The garden is stunning and the pool is cleaned daily, with pleasantly warm water. The courtyard is peaceful, perfect for relaxing in the evening.

Every dish we tried in the restaurant was delicious, always fresh and the chef often came out to ask about our preferences, which we really appreciated. Though honestly, it wasn’t even necessary, as we could barely keep up with tasting all the great food!

All the waiters were extremely friendly, especially Ibrahim, who knew what we liked to drink from the moment we arrived at the restaurant and would have it on the table straight away. The same goes for Zezoo at the beach bar. Despite all the running around, both of them were always smiling and full of humour. DJ Feilx kept our teenage kids entertained and they didn’t feel bored for even a second. He got them involved by letting them create playlists and rehearse dances for tiktok.

About the sea we experienced everything from 2-metre waves, covered with seaweed to calm and peaceful waters. There are no breakwaters, so it’s wild like the ocean.

My only criticism would be that they could improve the beach cleaning process with a machine — it would make it quicker and...
