A Complete Disaster – Do Not Waste Your Money!

I don’t even know where to begin. Le Sidi Hotel is by far the worst place I’ve ever stayed in. If I could give it zero stars, I would.

First of all, there was no running water in the rooms. Not a drop. No shower, no flushing toilets, no water to wash your face with — and not even an apology from the staff. When we reported it, the response was slow, careless, and almost indifferent. We were basically told to just wait… and wait we did — for hours, with no solution.

As for the staff, they are completely untrained and overwhelmed. It felt like they had no idea what they were doing. Every simple request took forever, and most were ignored entirely. It’s like no one cared that we were guests.

Then comes the beach, which was the main reason we booked this place. It looks like a post-apocalyptic scene. Broken tiles, rusted metal, garbage everywhere. You literally have to watch your step to avoid injury. The area feels abandoned, unsafe, and totally unmaintained.

To top it all off, this nightmare came with a ridiculously high price tag. For what, exactly? For a dry faucet, lazy service, and a beach that looks like a bomb site? I've stayed in budget hostels that were cleaner, friendlier, and better maintained than this overpriced disaster.

Le Sidi is a scam, plain and simple. It’s not just outdated — it’s falling apart. No hospitality, no infrastructure, no value. Just a name and a pretty photo online that has nothing to do with reality.

Avoid at all costs. Don’t let the photos or location fool you — this is a place that should be shut down,...

Le Sidi is, without a doubt, one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever stayed in. From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted with warmth, elegance, and a level of hospitality that’s truly world-class. The staff is incredibly attentive, kind, and professional — every interaction feels personal and thoughtful.

The food is simply exquisite. Every dish is prepared with such care and creativity that it deserves special praise. A heartfelt compliment to the head chef — the culinary experience here is nothing short of exceptional.

The rooms are spacious and thoughtfully designed in a chic bohemian style, offering not just comfort but character. Each room is equipped with modern touches like a personal coffee machine, high-speed internet, and even a speaker — small details that elevate your stay.

One of the most unique aspects of Le Sidi is lagoon, which you can access directly from your room. This thoughtful concept not only adds to the sense of exclusivity but is also the perfect solution for days when the open sea is too rough for swimming. It’s peaceful, safe, and breathtakingly beautiful.

Everything about this place justifies its price — the atmosphere, the service, the design — and I genuinely can’t think of a single flaw. I leave Le Sidi with only the most wonderful impressions and memories, and I already know this is a place I’ll be returning to...

A rare find on Egypt’s North Coast! Le Sidi offers an opportunity to truly relax and decompress. This boutique hotel is not for traditional Sahel vacationers. With less than 30 rooms, a no-children policy, and a strict limit on the number of drop-in day visitors, guests can enjoy a serene getaway within the summertime bustle at Sahel. While we found it a bit challenging to get a reservation, I was (selfishly) pleased that this was the case once we got here. Always smiling, Le Sidi’s staff are attentive and convey a sense that they are genuinely happy you are here. The cabanas are comfortable, tastefully appointed, and have every possible amenity; Bose bluetooth speakers, an espresso machine, a stocked mini-bar, and semi-private terraces. Their beautiful lagoon is surrounded by gorgeous, meticulously maintained landscape, and comfortable cushioned chaise-longes (think aprés swim siesta). Last, but by no means least, Le Sidi’s kitchen offers a delicious selection of fusion style dishes. Their only deficiency is poor Wi-Fi access; and while somewhat annoying, one should also remember that you are here to relax and disconnect. As a first time guest, I give kudos to Le Sidi’s owners and their management team for offering us a wonderfully unique guest experience. I look forward to a...
