First of all I want to state that the 1 star is only because the beach is abosultely beautiful but if it was about the hotel and service I would give it a -ve rating!||We have been going to this place for years..even before people heard of the place, we never stopped even when they had water shortage and electricity problems!||This year I have personally experienced the worst service ever..||-The owner's wife believes that owners can qualify to be good managers but unfortunately this is not true! ||-The hotel welcomes walk ins from surrounding private villas to dinner without prior notice and as a cost cutting procedure the food quantities in the dinner buffet is ridiculously small, consists of few varieties for example if you're on a strict diet or a vegeterian you wouldn't find anything to eat! moreover the food quality is horrible!||as a paying guest I passed on my complaints Ms Soha, I told her all the above and that the day before we went to the dessert table 5 mins late and we literally didn't find anything!||anyway she replied rudely that I shouldn't be making fuss about food, and she will send me what I want on my table! then she went to complain to my dad who after she left said she is extremely unprofessional and we are not to go to this place ever again! the rest of the 4 days she treated us all as if we are unwelcome guests at her house not paying guests occupying 9 rooms in the hotel!!||- The house keeping never put any toilet papers or tissues in the room and when I asked them about it they smiled and said sorry you never asked us to!!||- The room was very unclean and full of flies yet they never even consider using anything to get rid of this and when I used my own insecticide and many flies were killed on the floor and bathroom they didn't even bother removing them!||- On the beach there is only one person responsible for everything, chairs, shisha, drinks, food, complaints...so if you order anything it's very common to receive it an hour later if ever!||-Again on the beach it's only chairs they provide, no water sports or animation team or anything for kids.||-At night it's plain boring, Absolutely nothing to do, no shows or music or anything.||-No supermarket or pharmacy or even ER room in the hotel or even near by.||-No life guard on the beach or pool.||-Jet ski owners always disregard the separator and drive beside the swimmers which is very dangerous and no one from the hotel staff interferes to protect us!||-Whenever you walk to the reception you never find anyone behind the counter because obviously the hotel assigns more than 1 job to every staff member to save money!||-Thank God their contract ends up next year as I've been told, hopefully it will be rented by professional people who consider their...
Read moreBefore starting my review, I need to mention some of my findings: 1- The resort was managed by a different company till March 2023. 2- The staff was replaced by May 2023 (Approximately) 3- You need to consider these 2 points when reading old reviews
Location: One of the key advantages of this resort is its proximity to the beach, which is just a short 5-minute walk away. The beach itself is absolutely wonderful, with stunning views and a tranquil atmosphere, offering a perfect escape for relaxation and enjoyment. Room: The rooms, despite their spaciousness, left much to be desired. The outdated and worn-out furniture gave a sense of neglect, and the pillows were old and tattered. Unfortunately, the resort did not have any replacements available, which significantly impacted the comfort of the sleeping experience. Furthermore, the air conditioning units were not functioning properly, with water droplets falling intermittently during the night, causing disruptions and inconvenience. Cleanliness: The cleanliness of the resort was also a notable concern. There were noticeable problems with flies and mosquitoes throughout the premises, which hindered the full enjoyment of the facilities. This lack of attention to cleanliness and the presence of pests affected the overall comfort of the stay. The staff: While the staff members were friendly, their lack of professionalism was apparent. Requests were not handled efficiently, suggesting inadequate training and a lack of attention to detail. This further contributed to the underwhelming experience during my stay. Food: Lastly, the dining experience at Peace Spa was disappointing. The food lacked variety and the quality was subpar. The repetitive menu, lackluster taste, and uninspiring presentation failed to meet even basic culinary standards, leaving a lot to be desired. Price: Taking into account the underwhelming accommodations, cleanliness concerns, unprofessional service, and lackluster dining options, I found the high price of over $200 per night unjustifiable.
Overall, my experience at Peace Spa Hostmark fell short of meeting the expected standards and did not justify the premium rates charged. I would advise fellow travelers to carefully consider these drawbacks before booking a stay at...
Read moreHotel staff are super kind and very welcoming, but the owner of the hotel obviously does not care!
I came here for a 4 day holiday and I cut it short and left early.
I was check in 4 different rooms (109,107,404 and 402) all rooms had a non functional AC unit. Temperature in Egypt’s north coast now can reach 35-40 celcius (100+ Fahrenheit) water cuts in the room for hours and you come back from the beach needed AC and fresh water for a shower and you simply won’t get it.
The rates in this hotel is very high 250$-300$ per night per room. So you expect the basics to be provided.
Food was ok, not exceptional but eatable.
The only good thing was the kind staff in the hotel and did their best to help us with what they have.
I hope this review reaches the owners and helps them take action. AC’s should be your top priority in this...
