We had the pleasure of staying at Grand Hotel, which is the sister to Dreams Hotel and is situated 50 meters along the same road. It is a few minutes walk from Qena train station and about 10 minutes walk to bus pick up/drop off point.|The hotel staff were very welcoming and attentive. We were shown to our 4th floor twin room (there is an elevator), and was surprise how large it was. There was an en suite wet room, and in the air conditioned bedroom - a large refrigerator, wall mounted tv, and a table n chairs. The beds were really comfortable. The staff at the hotel keep the premises spotless. There is a coffee bar/eating area on 3rd floor as well as numerous shops at ground level.|The hotel is situated on the main road opposite the train station, so it's handy for all of the shops and souks. We visited Dendra temple which is only 20 minutes by car away. This was the highlight of our trip. Abydos is approx 45 minutes drive. During the evening it was wonderful to sail along the Nile at dusk and watch the world drift by.|We were extremely happy with our stay at Grand Hotel and would definitely recommend it to...

The stuff were friendly and the room was clean and It was comfy despite being not so roomy. The hotel is in a very good spot for all methods of transport.. Being within the city you wouldn't expect a good view and the breakfast was meh. For that price I highly recommend it for short...
Read moreIt was only for one nicht, so we didn't care much where we slept. We asked a non smoking room, that they gave us. We got a welcoming drink and everything we need is present in the room. Breakfast was good (egyptian breakfast). Price/quality was good. Only downpoint: it's nearly impossible to sleep at night because of the busy street. We slept anyway because we were so tired of the trip from hurghada and visiting the dendeira complex. There is good takaway food down the street and it' a 5 min walk to the train or...
