As someone who travels a lot and has stayed in various 4 star and 5 star hotels. This one is a 3 star at best. Most definitely not a 4 star. The other reviews are not a true reflection of the hotel. I was originally given a room (6608) which was located by the kids pool on the other side of the hotel. There were no lifts there. The walls were all cracked, there was ‘Private’ graffiti on the wall and there was a pile of plastic bottles and rubbish located near my room. It was like I was in a different hotel to the main part, an unfinished side. A lot of construction work was ongoing within the hotel premises, next to guest rooms. This created noise and inconvenience. Flies everywhere. On arrival to my room, I was asked for a tip by the person who brought my suitcase to the room… my minibar was empty. I informed them the following morning and they said they would fill it. I didn’t end up getting it filled until the evening, after approaching reception about it three times. On my first evening, I was by the entertainment and was bombarded by ‘security’ asking why I didn’t have a wristband, he called over various staff to tell them I didn’t have a wristband and everyone was looking (I wasn’t given a wristband on arrival). Some of the staff were nice, others just stared at me when I walked around (other guests stared a lot too) bear in mind, I am black. You would’ve thought that nobody had seen a black person before, which is odd considering we’re in north AFRICA. On my third night, a MOUSE was in my room, it was in my suitcase and ran out. Not surprising considering the amount of rubbish nearby. This was around 4am. I informed reception and housekeeping came down with mouse glue traps and looked for it. It ended up running out but I asked for a room change there and then, which was at first met with reluctance, but I was then moved to a different room (1122) another ground floor room. I was then asked to sign something that stated I wouldn’t take legal action at 4:30am. I made sure to only write mouse in room clearly. This left me feeling extremely uncomfortable for the remainder of my trip and I didn’t sleep well and couldn’t wait to go home. My second room was better and cleaner than the first. If I had the funds to check in somewhere else, I would have. The main breakfast restaurant was always overcrowded. The man serving drinks would take orders from people behind me when I was at the front of the queue, like I was invisible. Some staff don’t understand English enough, I asked for 1 coke and 1 white wine & I was brought a coke mixed with white wine, who has that? Constantly bothered by the pool when trying to relax. Jacki was nice though & Irina. Pool is freezing! Sun beds were terrible. Wifi terrible. I was also constantly asked for my instagram or contact details by the male staff, and asked if I wanted to meet with them, so irritating. On a better note, Silk was probably the restaurant that was the most edible. I ate the sweet & sour noodles most days. The chef cooking that was friendly but looked tired. The waiter was nice but you constantly had to fill out evaluation form, even if you’ve done it already previous days. The rest of the food i.e Luna and Blend were subpar. I liked the chips that were served at lunch. I stuck to ‘safe foods’ to avoid any illness. The best part of my trip was when I was out on an excursion with an outside company (GoShalabi). I wouldn’t return or recommend this hotel to anyone. I spend my whole holiday irritated and unhappy. Worst hotel Ive ever stayed at. -1000/10. I don’t even know how I made it through the 7 days.

We had an amazing 3-night stay at this new hotel in Sahl Hasheesh! The hotel opened in November 2024, so everything feels fresh and modern. From the moment we arrived (just a 25-minute taxi ride from the airport), we were impressed. Location: The hotel is located in a clean, quiet, and well-maintained area of Sahl Hasheesh Bay. It’s a perfect place for evening walks. Although it’s on the second line from the beach, it offers two beach options, both with their own charm. The second beach (reachable by a free shuttle in 8–10 minutes) is absolutely fantastic — the best in the bay, with a sandy entrance and artificial reef full of fish. Rooms: Our room was spotless and cozy. It had everything we needed — toiletries, toothbrushes, razors, loofahs, etc. Housekeeping did a great job every day. Service & Staff: The staff was friendly, polite, and always willing to help. A real highlight of the experience! Food & Drinks: The food exceeded all expectations — better than in many 5-star resorts in Egypt. Daily variety included yogurt, fruits, fish, meat, seafood, and even shrimp every night during dinner. The bars offer real ground coffee, tasty cocktails, and boxed juices. There are 5 à la carte restaurants — no reservations needed, just walk in. Plus, a cozy café offers ice cream and delicious milkshakes until 10 PM. Facilities: There are two pools — one freshwater, one saltwater which is a rare and welcome feature.
The animation team (9 people!) kept things lively with daily activities like stretching, bocce, darts, and aqua aerobics. Chill modern music plays around the pool. The gym is a standout: panoramic windows, all brand-new equipment, and plenty of machines. Beaches: * The first beach is a 7-minute walk — quiet and private, ideal for sunbathing, though not great for swimming. * The second beach (via free shuttle) is on Pyramisa hotel and has a great swimming area, sandy entry, and plenty of marine life. We paid just $90 per night for two people an absolute steal for this level of quality and service. No other hotel in this price range even comes close. Would we return?
Absolutely. If you don’t mind a short shuttle ride to the main beach, this is hands down the best 4-star experience you can get. Highly recommend!

We stayed here for 8 days – three adults and four children – in two double rooms and one family room. The family room, with a double bed and slightly separated bunk beds, offers plenty of space for a family. The double rooms are also pleasantly spacious and are cleaned thoroughly every morning. The food in the main restaurant is extensive and delicious. In addition, the à la carte restaurants nicely complement the dining options. Drinks are available all day and are often served directly to your sunbed upon request. The entire resort is very clean and is tidied up early every morning. The hotel’s private beach is only about a 6–7 minute walk from the pool area and is wonderful. There are around 100 sunbeds, and now, at the beginning of October, barely a third of them are occupied. At the moment, no other hotels have sunbeds at this beach, so you can really enjoy peace and quiet, swimming, and strolling along the shore. There is also a beautiful reef for snorkeling. I recommend wearing water shoes to make walking into the sea more comfortable. Drinks are also available at the beach🥳 The second hotel beach, which can be reached hourly by the hotel shuttle bus within a 10min drive, is nice for swimming as well, but it is very crowded and, in my opinion, not any better than the hotel’s main beach. But, of course, to each their own. The service staff are mostly very friendly, attentive, greet you warmly, and often share a smile or a short conversation. If any problems arise, everyone is happy to help, although many employees have limited English skills. Entertainment is offered throughout the day by cheerful and energetic young staff. Neither the entertainment team nor the people offering massages or trips around the pool area are pushy. The overall atmosphere is truly very pleasant. A small fitness area (in the fitness tower by the pool) is available and allows for simple strength and cardio training. All in all, the hotel is beautiful, with a large pool area, a lovely private beach, good food, and friendly staff. In my opinion, it’s unbeatable in terms of value for money. I definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

If “value for money” is a real phrase, this place deserves it 150%.

I’ll admit, I was hesitant about staying at Flow Spectrum Resort after reading a few negative reviews just before my trip. Most of those concerns seemed to be related to times when the hotel was fully booked, which made me a bit cautious. Thankfully, my stay turned out to be a really pleasant surprise.

The food overall was excellent—the variety in the main restaurant was impressive, and the taste consistently good. The à la carte restaurants served high-quality dishes, and I especially liked the salad bar at the Latin restaurant. The lunch buffet was one of the best I’ve had at any hotel, and the pizza at the beach snack bar was a real treat. The alcoholic beverages and drinks in general were also surprisingly good, with a decent variety and quality that added to the overall experience.

The facilities were another highlight—especially the many à la carte restaurants, each offering a variety of cuisines. I particularly loved the Mexican and Asian options, and the ability to choose between indoor and outdoor seating added a nice touch. The pools were also nice and clean, providing a refreshing and relaxing experience throughout the day. The ice cream shop was a fun bonus, perfect for cooling off under the sun—and it was especially great that it was open from 10 AM to 10 PM, making it super convenient anytime you wanted a sweet treat.

Special thanks to Rawan from the guest relations team, who went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Her attention to detail and helpful attitude truly stood out and made a difference. Also, a big thanks to Fares at the lobby bar, along with Mustafa and a friendly young woman at the same bar whose name I didn’t catch. I’d also like to mention Executive Chef Mohamed at the main restaurant, Chef Mahmoud at the grill, waiters Sayed and Asim, and Mohamed, the shuttle bus driver.

The housekeeping team was also lovely and kept everything tidy and comfortable.

The night shows were enjoyable and added a great evening atmosphere.

As for downsides, the main one was the staff shortage. It didn’t affect me much since the hotel wasn’t fully booked, but it’s something to consider if you’re visiting during high season. The staff were clearly doing their best, but they were stretched thin—so don’t expect someone to always check in or ask what you’d like to drink. It wasn’t a deal-breaker, but it’s worth noting.

Another area that could use improvement is the animation team. While the night shows were fun, the daytime entertainment and activities felt a bit lacking and could be more engaging and energetic.

The breakfast buffet could also be better, but this didn’t bother us much, as both lunch and dinner were excellent.

That said, these minor issues didn’t take away from the overall positive experience. I’d absolutely recommend Flow Spectrum Resort—especially during off-peak times, unless staffing improves. My overall rating is a solid 5/5, and I’d definitely consider coming back during the same...

Based on our experience, I have to say that the hotel did not meet expectations at all, nor did it match the reviews we had read before our arrival. • Room: The shower leaked so badly that water flowed outside, leaving the entire towel soaked after every shower, and the more we used it, the worse it got – it was likely a cracked pipe. The couch that served as an extra bed was in a disastrous condition – sagging, impossible to sleep on properly, and even collapsed during the night. Cleanliness was not as advertised; a vacuum cleaner would have been necessary. If we didn’t give the cleaner a tip, we didn’t even get water. When we complained to the manager, he reacted mockingly, asking if we couldn’t just get water from the bar. But it’s about the principle. • Beach: The beach had straws and plastic cups scattered in the sand, which looked very neglected – regular cleaning would definitely help. The sunbeds were old and in poor condition, constantly folding on their own, making it impossible to lie comfortably. Beach towels were in very bad condition – old and even dirty, and definitely in need of replacement. There were NO SHOWERS OR TOILETS on the beach, which I consider a major drawback. Transportation to the beach was organized by a bus that only ran once per hour. • Food: The food was very monotonous and repeated every day. There were hardly any sauces for the meat, so everything felt dry. Fruit was very limited – mostly just watermelon and oranges, occasionally a banana or plums, despite the hotel advertising exotic fruits like mango or other varieties. The beach snacks were very poor: fries, falafel, dry meat, warm cucumber, and ketchup, as everything was left out in the sun. The only fruit on the beach was oranges. Overall, beach dining was very limited, which is a big minus for an ultra all-inclusive package. • Atmosphere & Entertainment: This hotel is definitely not suitable for young people. The program ends at 10 PM, and after that, it’s completely quiet. During the day or evening, there was no music playing anywhere in the hotel, restaurants, or bars – not even as background music – making the atmosphere very silent and dull. On the beach, music played for about an hour a day, and by the pool briefly during lunch. Most of the time, there was complete silence; we could only hear music from the neighboring hotel. The area around the hotel is not suitable for walks – everything is under construction, so there’s nowhere to go outside. During our stay, the hotel experienced power outages about five times, leaving everything in complete darkness; maybe this wasn’t entirely their fault, but they should have been prepared with something like a generator. • Staff: A major downside is the attitude of the staff. During conversations, staff members would casually pick up their phones and stop paying attention to us. In the bars, waiters argued with each other, creating a very unpleasant atmosphere that made us feel unwelcome. Overall, this hotel did not match the promised...
