Our arrival at Jaz Dar El Madina yesterday had a minor hiccup, but as someone deeply familiar with customer focus and creating raving fans, I know that a complaint is an opportunity to turn things around and win customer loyalty. This resort truly seized that opportunity and exceeded our expectations.
The reception manager, Mr. Haitham Elmahdi, handled our issue with exceptional professionalism and care. His approach was nothing short of outstanding, resolving the situation promptly and leaving us feeling valued and appreciated.
This is our fifth visit to Jaz Dar El Madina, and for good reason. The resort consistently stands out for its unique charm, small-scale ambiance, and genuine commitment to guest satisfaction. Unlike larger resorts, there’s a personal touch here that’s hard to find elsewhere.
Outstanding Customer Service: From the reception to the housekeeping staff, everyone goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is memorable. The team’s dedication to making guests feel at home is remarkable.
Exceptional Food: The culinary experience here is top-notch. Every meal is thoughtfully prepared, offering a variety of flavors that cater to different tastes. It’s rare to find a resort where the food consistently impresses, but Jaz Dar El Madina delivers every time.
Unbeatable Atmosphere: The resort’s intimate and tranquil environment is perfect for relaxation. Whether you’re lounging by the pool, enjoying the lush gardens, or exploring the nearby beach, every corner exudes peace and beauty.
Consistency Across Visits: Having stayed here multiple times, I can confidently say that the quality remains impeccable. This consistency is a testament to the management’s commitment to excellence.
Our Conclusion: Jaz Dar El Madina is a gem in Marsa Alam, offering a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and personalized service. Even when things don’t go perfectly, the team turns challenges into opportunities, ensuring guests leave with only positive memories.
We can’t wait to return for our sixth visit! Thank you to Mr. Haitham Elmahdi and the entire team for once again making our stay unforgettable.
If you’re considering a stay in Marsa Alam, Jaz Dar El Madina should be at the top of your list. Highly...
Read moreWe just spent 2 wonderful weeks in Madina. Our first time there, but probably our 20th time in Egypt. It's a lovely little hotel in the middle of the huge cluster of many JAZ hotels. While Madina is small, cosy and intimate, the JAZ conglomeration is huge! The hotel is not directly on the beach, but it is literally a 4 minute walk to get to the reserved beach section of the hotel. There are also stalls on the beach that serve drinks, pizza (BTW really good!), yummy waffles and crepes etc. As we are divers, we spent a good part of the holiday at the Coraya Divers dive centre - this is only a 3 minute walk away, so very handy. The food in Madina's main restaurant is wonderful - we really enjoyed it. We always found many things that we liked very much. What we found a pity was that there wasn't more Egyptian food either on the buffet, or more often Egyptian-themed evenings. When we go to Italy, we usually eat Italian food. When we go to Spain, we want to eat Spanish specialities. When we go to Egypt, we want to enjoy the fantastic Egyptian food, which we don't think is offered enough. For example, hummus, baba ganoush and tahini should be buffet staples in my opinion :-). There are 3 speciality restaurants that are included in the all-inclusive package. We went to the oriental Sofra - which was really amazing. We didn't try the other restaurants although we heard from others that they are also excellent. The waiters are so friendly and helpful, not pushy, and we had some lovely conversations getting to know them. The reception staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly - probably the nicest Egyptian welcome we've experienced in a long time. The rooms are beautiful, spacious and modern. We landed in Marsa Alam (RMF) and the hotel is an easy 10 minute drive away - we heard a plane fly overhead maybe once a day, if that. All in all a great holiday and can highly...
Read moreThe hotel area was very clean and well taken care of. The room is cleaned every day and the towels are changed. The pool towels are also changed every day. The swimming pool and children's pool were heated and clean and cleaned every day. You could also order drinks by the pool and the staff served the drinks directly to the sunbeds.
The location of Jaz Dar el Madina is great because it is about 50 meters from the water park through its own entrance and about 3 minutes' walk to the beach, which also has its own bar and food stalls. The hotel's buildings block the wind to the pool nicely.
The water park can be used every day during the winter season. The water park has also a small food corner with snacks and drinks.
The beach was closed for safety reasons during the holiday for four days. But when it opened, the beach was wonderful for snorkeling. We saw a turtle, stingrays and thousands of fish at the reef!
The staff was really friendly and the service was excellent. The buffet was small but changed every day and there was something to eat even for vegetarians every day. The food at the buffet was tasty. The Egyptian corner at the buffet was a good addition. The breakfast had plenty of sweet and savoury options.
Sofra, the middle Eastern restaurant, was great and the food was very good.
There was evening program every night at the stage, although it was mainly dance shows and quite similar performances every day. There could have been more variety.
Table football, billiard table (for over 12 years old) and ping pong were available for children.
Overall, a very good all-inclusive hotel. Despite all-inclusive, it's worth leaving a tip for good service.
Special thanks to the staff for the good service in the restaurant and for...
