Overall, the vacation went great — we really enjoyed everything! I'd like to go through a few points for clarity (we stayed in True Beach Resort, not the Village):

Room (1318) The room smelled pleasant, the bed was large and very comfortable, there was a terrace, a smart TV, and excellent Wi-Fi (it actually worked all around the hotel, even on the beach). The room included a safe, mini fridge, and a tea/coffee set. Bottled water was provided daily. The bathroom was well stocked with toiletries. The air conditioning worked well, and we didn’t hear any noise from the neighbors. – The hotel was probably fully booked, so we were placed in a room designed for guests with disabilities. That’s actually more of a plus than a minus, but since we don’t have any disabilities, it was very inconvenient: everything was too low, the shower had no barrier, so after every shower there was a huge puddle that we had to clean ourselves. The water drained very slowly, and it took more time to clean up than to shower. We only used housekeeping once — they only cleaned the floor. It would be great to have something for drying wet clothes after the beach.

Service & Animation I’m combining these because it felt like one and the same. The animation team was really fun — every day brought something new. The animators always told us the schedule in advance and didn’t pressure us to join anything if we didn’t want to. The reception staff were also helpful with various questions. I heard staff speaking both German and English. – Staff in the restaurants and bars weren’t always friendly. Most were nice — regardless of tipping — but in some cases, we waited a long time or weren’t approached at all. There seemed to be enough waiters, but they probably focused on more “attractive” guests :) When I approached the bar myself to order, I got nasty looks and was waved away as if I were in the way.

Territory & Beach The hotel grounds were clean, well maintained, pleasantly scented, and quiet — there were always enough sunbeds for everyone. The beach was also clean and sandy. But be prepared — without special shoes, you won’t enjoy swimming in the sea. There’s no pier, and getting to deeper water takes forever — we never even got there. There are shops on site, but they’re extremely expensive and not very flexible with prices. You’ll get the same items for 3x less at duty-free. There are also shops on the beach — much cheaper and with very friendly sellers. The drive from the airport takes about 1–1.5 hours. The area around the hotel is very quiet — that’s either a plus or a minus, depending on your preferences.

Food The juices were honestly bad. If you want alcohol, go for the undiluted drinks (like beer or wine). Cocktails were very inconsistent — every time you order the same one, it tastes completely different. My stomach is quite sensitive, and it didn’t love the food. Meals were a bit monotonous for a typical resort. We had one dinner at the à la carte restaurant — calling it dinner would be generous. It wasn’t tasty at all, even though we paid extra for the better menu. The Caesar salad was literally just lettuce and canned tuna, and the “seafood soup” was watery broth with surimi sticks.

SPA & Extras SPA prices were a bit high. The massage itself was good, but the space was dirty — the only place in the whole hotel where I noticed a lack of cleanliness.

There’s an option to smoke shisha for those who enjoy it.

In general, the vacation was great — just a few things that could be easily improved.

We didn’t use the doctor’s services, so I can’t...

My mum and I just got back from a week long holiday here, first week of September. I would say it's a perfect choice for people who just want to relax, enjoy some peace & privacy and spend some time together. We paid for adults only (village) swim-up room and got upgraded to the one with the sea view - the room is beautiful, nice bathroom, spacious terrace with direct entrance to a pool shared with 3 other rooms, though we had it mostly for ourselves. The only downside is that they are facing east, meaning you're in shade from around 2pm already, but moving to infinity pool in the village part is also an option. Village side is definitely worth paying extra for, we had the best service there, loved the iced-coffee, no kids, all drinks and food delivered directly to the room, although I would appreciate some music playing there, it was way too quiet. The food generally was great, there are different themes in the main buffet every night and you always find something to your liking. From a-la carte restaurants, the Asian one was the best choice, then probably the Arabic one, but Mediterranean and Greek were a little disappointing - mind you there are some food you have to pay extra for anyway. The highlight of the hotel is the staff, always with a smile on their face, very attentive, friendly, nothing's ever a problem, they remember where you're from and some speak several languages. The shows are average but the animation team ones are always fun, they are truly doing their best- keeping everyone entertained.|However, there's absolutely a space for improvement:|1. Pier/jetty - definitely needed, the sea looks gorgeous but what's the point when you can't actually go swimming|2. Snack bar - there is no snack bar on the beach whatsoever, they only offer one food in the bar in the afternoon and it's always a dry bun with some minced meat and fries. Shoutout to the chef in village bar for always preparing ham and cheese toasts for me when I asked, loved it, much appreciated! most people don't go for lunch to the restaurant bc we have late breakfasts, so it would be nice to have a snack bar where you can choose from at least a hamburger / pizza / sandwiches.|3. Gym - gym sucks here, not going to lie. When you have a hotel with adults only section, you have to expect people to go working out, but the hotel only has a very small room (there were 5 of us at once and that's crowded) with no exercise mats available, not even any space for solo training, poor & old equipment, weights only going 5-10-15-x-45, 2 treadmills from which 1 is always not working, and rarely ever are there clean towels available. Also, the floor leaves black stains, so be careful. It'd be great to have at least some aerobics room with mats, small weights, kettlebells, basic yoga/pilates tools etc there, which would upgrade the entertainment possibilities as well.||Overall we were satisfied though, it's great service for a good value. Thank you True...

TLDR: Great hotel with lots of possibilities to relax and to enjoy your vacation. We will definitely come again! Room (Swim Up Suite): Modern and clean decorations. Huge shower. Samsung Smart TV with airplay and WiFi (~10Mbps) in the entire complex. We could watch Netflix movies without any problems. Drinks and Snacks will be delivered to your terrace. Drinks: They have Stella beer, wine, spirits and offer a variety of cocktails. The cocktails always taste different depending on the time of day and the barman. There is no kind of quality management regarding that. Anyways they have always been tasty :) Beach: Sandy beach with lots of rocks near the water. Wearing shoes is heavily recommended. Not crowded, you always have enough space for yourself. Drinks will be delivered to the beach as well. Food: First time in Egypt without having stomach problems. The food is generally good and has a huge variety. You can go to the buffet or one of the four restaurants. All in all we had only positive experiences. Although there are a few things that taste uncommon for a European (e.g. the cheese they put on the pizzas and the intense sweetness of their pastry, for obvious reasons they didn't offer pork) Staff: Very friendly staff and great service quality. If you tip them regularly they will even bring you a new beer without even asking for it. I loved it. Make sure to bring coins, as it is sometimes difficult to get change. Entertainment: There are daily shows and tiny sports events every day (Darts, Boccia, Volleyball, Yoga). Don't come here if you expect huge and crowded parties. We aren't party people so this was just right for us. Thanks to Aya for motivating us to play darts and boccia. We had lot's of fun! Scuba diving: They have their own diving center but unfortunately not their own boats. They drive you to a small harbour and start their trips from there. We decided to go diving with the scuba world divers at the hotel next door. A very special thanks to the whole team of True Beach Village. We had a lovely holiday!

Staying at True Beach Resort was one of the most exceptional experiences I’ve had as a traveler who’s visited hundreds of hotels around the world. From the moment I checked in until the day I left, I felt genuinely cared for. A special mention goes to the front desk manager, who speaks flawless English and communicates with ease and warmth. He handled even the most unusual requests with sincere care and dedication. You can tell he genuinely wants guests to feel comfortable — his approach is thoughtful, attentive, and truly heartwarming. He didn’t just solve problems — he anticipated needs. The same high standard of service continues in the restaurant, bar, and among the waiting staff. Every member of the team was welcoming, professional, and full of positive energy. Meals were served with elegance, and the staff were always happy to recommend dishes or adjust things to taste. It’s hospitality at its best. As for the infrastructure, the hotel is a true haven of peace and quiet. It’s wonderfully calm and relaxing, and one of the things I appreciated most is that there’s never a problem finding a sunbed — whether it’s by the pool or on the beach. There’s absolutely no need to get up early to "reserve" one. No matter the time of day, there are always spots available, which is a rare and welcome change. What’s more, waiters make rounds at least every 30 minutes, offering refreshing drinks and cocktails right to your lounger — adding a real touch of luxury to the experience. The food at the main restaurant deserves high praise — it’s perfectly seasoned, beautifully prepared, and always fresh. And the evening BBQs are simply outstanding — delicious, generous, and full of flavor, set in a lovely atmosphere. True Beach Resort goes far beyond expectations. It’s the kind of place where you can truly unwind, enjoy exceptional service, and make lasting memories. I will absolutely return — and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a relaxing, top-tier getaway.
