When I arrived, the room was not ready - I had to ask for toilet paper, a glass to brush teeth/drink water (got one glass and 8 paper cups), no hangers, no table/luggage table. Dust on the floor. The manager with glasses helped to get a couple of these things, thank you. Brought in the table from the balcony myself - dirty, dusty. While some rooms had dryers/lines to dry wet clothes, my room had nothing. Room doors had holes in them. TV/phone - not working. Fridge - a bit cold, but leaking water. AC - working, but loud and no difference between +13 and +30. Two trash bins, both broken. Curtains have not been washed, probably since the opening of the hotel. Mirrors - wiped with a dirty rag. Also, balcony doors have gaps, and sometimes geckos come into the room. The mattress seemed new and good, the bedding clean. Sadly, it was not changed in a week, as well as the towels. Asked for a Do Not Disturb sign at the reception, and it was noted down, but I never got one. Asked for toilet paper on another occasion - got half a roll.||Cleaning - the room properly cleaned twice in 7 days, even when asked if to clean the room and saying yes, nothing was done. I did not understand how cleaning works - upon request, every second day, daily, etc.||Food - great restaurant team - cleaners work fast, help with finding a table. Food - sometimes delicious, sometimes ok, a lot of desserts, but repetitive - pasta, potatoes, sauteed vegetables, etc. During lunch, queues form, not enough tables. ||Bus to Dahab - old, no AC, everything hanging by a thread, but other groups got a better one.||WiFi - available at the reception, but it's not loading Facebook. Slow, sometimes doesn't work at all. ||3 pools seem nice, but not enough loungers, even if there is space for more. Harsh chlorine is used, burns eyes, and affects skin. Only one pool bar is working, young bartenders seem fine. Everything in paper/plastic cups. People, kids can do whatever they like on the slides - face-first, backwards, climbing up, etc. - accidents waiting to happen. ||Animation - no clear schedule for what and where, when it is happening. Seen stretching and water aerobics happening. Evening entertainment - the usual (fire show, Miss Hotel, etc.). And about an hour of disco after that. There were three fire shows in a week. The fire dancer is great.||Beach - uncomfortable. Very rocky, no proper entrance, pontoon - often crowded, deep. Everybody is ordered out of the water at 18. The reef is beautiful thou. Not enough sun loungers, too many people, and many broken umbrellas.||Had a late pick up time, I was not allowed to have lunch after checkout at 12. Had a great meal at the pool bar. They have a nice infrastructure, but the whole management needs work, the hotel needs more maintenance, and the guests need more care. The whole team could improve their English. Currently, not...

I recently stayed at this hotel, and unfortunately, my experience was far from what I expected. While the location is stunning, with beautiful mountainous surroundings and excellent snorkeling opportunities, several significant issues made our stay disappointing.

Food Quality: The most concerning aspect was the quality of food offered. It was apparent that the hotel was using frozen pre-cooked meals, which were then served to guests. The highlight of this issue was during breakfast when we were served sour fruit salad. This was unacceptable and could have caused serious health issues. Although the main dining room manager apologized, this doesn’t excuse serving potentially harmful food to guests. Moreover, everywhere we went, drinks were served in single-use plastic cups

Room: Our room was also in poor condition. We found ants in the closet and informed the receptionist, but nothing was done to resolve the issue. Additionally, our door was damaged, and the bathroom was in a dreadful state.

Coffee: During our stay, the coffee machine broke down, leaving guests without proper coffee for two days. There was no coffee machine available in the main dining room or on the beach, only at the bar. The only option was Nescafe, which was quite disappointing.

Beach: The beach itself is in a gorgeous location, perfect for snorkeling all day long. However, many of the beach umbrellas were in terrible condition. The pier was also in a state of disrepair, with wooden planks falling apart and stairs that were rusty and had holes. Some stairs were covered in barnacles, posing a risk of injury. During our stay, the stairs to the sea were replaced with new ones. This maintenance work closed off the only entrance to the sea, leaving guests unable to enter the water. Additionally, local guests who were afraid of the water crowded around the steps, making it difficult for others to exit the sea, which was very unpleasant as we had to push through them.

The shuttle bus to Dahab was misleading. The schedule at the reception stated only two runs per evening, but it actually went more frequently. We left early in the morning and did not receive the breakfast packages. The WiFi was non-functional throughout our stay.

Given these issues, the hotel does not meet the expected standards and should not be offered by...

The sea and mountains at the same time, a sandy beach where you can find incredible shells and a beautiful coral reef. What more could you want. The service is very cultured, polite and unobtrusive, which sometimes may be bothering in Egypt, but not here. Food also very good and the restaurant manager is remembered as a polite, kind person and a real professional. It is enough to move away from the shore a few meters and we already have a wonderful reef and views like from a National Geographic. During the 7-day stay, not too far from the hotel, we experienced snorkeling, camel riding, quad riding around the canyon, culminating in a delicious tea in the "Bedouin village" and more. Location: It is not a typical resort. Hotel located away from major cities (near Dahab) and entertainment centers. However, this is definitely a positive aspect. There is plenty to do in the area, and the town of Dahab itself with lots of shops is also interesting to visit and do shopping. Service: We wish it were like that everywhere in Egypt. Attractions: You don't have to go far from the hotel to experience snorkeling, camel riding and quad riding. It is also possible to book further excursions and diving activities nearby. Surroundings: Beautiful, wild landscapes. Everything in one place - sea, mountains, sandy beach, coral reef. Hotel and rooms: Very nice hotel, not overwhelming. Lots of greenery, There is no big aquapark, but there are swimming pools and water slides. Our friendly animators will make our time more pleasant. Rooms clean enough for this standard. When you leave a tip, we can count on the creativity of the staff, which will leave us with various "origami" from bedding, blankets and other items. Food: Tasty and varied. Especially lunches and dinners. Everything under the supervision of the restaurant manager who looked after the satisfaction of the guests. What did we like? - friendly service, from restaurants to hotel medical care - phenomenal reef right next to the shore - wild climate, unspoiled by commercial resort haraktura What did we not like? - Drinks on All Inclusive could be tastier - Far from larger entertainment and event centers, which will not necessarily be a problem for those who value peace.
