So this is the best I could give maybe less for such place. I don't know if we are in an off season or something but the place is almost empty and upon checking in we saw the room view and asked the representative if we can change the room he said No. Other rooms? No.. Anywhere in this empty hotel? No. Lol... Anyway for the room it lacks lots of things and you have to ask for it, no towels, no extra toilet papers, no bins.. Next to each room there is a closet door... Imagine all closet doors in the rooms hallways are all kept hitting by night as the wind goes stronger.. Complete noise. For the food, it's fairly good. Breakfast has Fava Beans, omelets, boiled egg, some cheese, honey and some backed pattiseries, and only drink is available is Tea and All in one coffee bag. The Place has a big swimming pool, and the staff are friendly. Rooms really needs renovation and the place need to have some activity cause such big hotel is only operated by 5 to 7 guys max. Of course no room service. The place is away from the city center by 5 KM and away from the famous Mount Sinai 2 or 3 KM. The place is more like a Motel.

Where shall I start? 1. Arrived after a 13hours journey on a bus from Cairo only to wait for 2 hours before we got a room. 2. The door to our room was really difficult to open. 3. Once entered, we were welcomed by the smell of a newly painted room. 4. I'm sure the A/C was from the 80's. 5. The "bath"room, if you can call it that, barely works. The water pressure was not too bad but the shower head only produce water from not a even half of the holes. Toilet was dirty and disgusting. 6. The towels were dusty. 7. Food was mediocre. Will not go here again and definitely do not advise any humans to stay here.

1. The room was freezing during night stay and should have a heater. I actually had minor cramp whilst sleeping. 2. Room 523 which I stayed in had no TV and when I visit others room they have it. I had no in-room entertainment. 3. WiFi is available in the lobby but doesn't reach the rooms. The receptionist was kind to provide password. Shops owners also offered their WiFi but theirs isn't always on. 4. The shops sell souvenirs but I would be nice if they have convenient shop as well. (for late night drinks/snacks) 5. The view of sunrise on mountain ranges was beautiful. [visited on 17-Dec-2022]

We stayed here as this was the hotel that was booked for us if you intend to climb Mt. Sinai. We were forewarned that the hotel was not the best there is in the area and they were right. Place looks nice from the outside but inside the rooms, it looked run down, only that there seems be recent fresh paint on the walls. Bed was not that comfy (some say it even had bedbugs), unless you're a backpacker and the front door knob and bathroom fixtures were in real bad shape as the faucets, toilet flush and shower were in disrepair, with no running hot water at that. This hotel would be a dream for backpackers, but not if you're on a budget, then this would be...

Keep your expectations low and you'll be happy. I suppose no one expects a 5-star hotel in such a remote and mountain top spot. It fits in well when you think of the closeby monastery of St. Catherine, with all the modest lifestyle led by monks for centuries. Honestly, I was expecting worse: the room is pretty clean, welcoming and somewhat large. The bathroom is small, but has a built-in sink over a granite slab and clean though not spotless. Clean bedding and a nice view of the gigantic swimming pool make it very pleasant. Hardly any internet connection, even on cell phone data hotspot ... Austerity !! No super food and no booze ......
