I recently had the pleasure of staying at Sea Sun Hotel Resort in Dahab, and it was truly a wonderful experience from start to finish. The location is unbeatable—situated right beside the sea, offering breathtaking views and direct access to the beach. The new administration running the resort is incredibly professional, bringing a fresh level of organization and care to every aspect of the stay. Their dedication to guest satisfaction was evident, making my experience seamless and enjoyable.
Service: The new management has clearly invested in exceptional service. Every staff member I interacted with was warm, welcoming, and eager to help, going out of their way to provide great recommendations and ensure that every need was met. The professionalism and dedication of the team truly set this place apart.
Overall Experience: My stay at Sea Sun Hotel Resort was outstanding, and I’m especially grateful to the new administration for their professionalism and attention to detail. Read moreI wrote a review on this hotel around 5/6 years ago and it wasn’t a very good one at all, out of curiosity I thought I would have a look at recent reviews written. ||I know there are genuinely good and bad reviews on most holidays however on this one the bad reviews are genuine it sounds like this place has not changed at all a lot of things are still the same, one of the things that stood out when we visited was that they put myself and my husband in a villa on the sea front for us to share with someone else , we expressed our thoughts on this as we had booked a room for just us two then they put us in another room classed as superior then tried to get us to upgrade for more money, if this has happened to anyone recently visiting it is a scam, the food was disgusting, staff were consistently arguing with each other in front of guests, they kept running out of beer, issues with broken plastic around the pool and lots of other issues were consistent and sound like they still are. I am writing a review again as I don’t want anyone to waste their hard earned cash on this dump as there does not seem to be any...
Read moreThe reason for my stay was a trip through the student exchange organization aiesec, which accommodated me here for 4 days. The hotel is about an hour's walk from the city, which it takes advantage of to overcharge for water (30 pounds at the hotel vs 20 pounds at the hotel pool bar vs 5 pounds in Cairo vs 10 pounds in dahab stores). The pool is more or less clean, but the sea at this hotel is not suitable for swimming due to considerable pollution (e.g. plastic, but also car tires) on the beach. The rooms were prepared, but not really clean: I found foreign hair in the sink and bed, the soap had been opened before. However, I was able to request free shampoo at the front desk. In general, the place could really be very nice, but everything seems unfortunately a bit run down...
