This place was simply a hidden gem for us. We stumbled to it by chance, and we were pleasantly surprised. On our arrival, we were welcomed by Rolando and his team but since we arrived late at night, we could not appreciate the beauty of the place. Early next morning as we woke up, and looked over the balcony, we were introduced to a heaven-like view of the place. The garden grounds proudly featured green pastures carefully manicured with lots of beautiful and exotic trees, plants and flowers all while the soft morning sun shined upon. This was an incredibly satisfying experience for all the senses. On top of that, we were welcomed with a fresh cup of coffee as part of a free full breakfast along with friendly smiles from the staff, and an overwhelming feeling that you had brought your family to the right place. We stayed at the facility for five nights, and the experience kept getting better and better as we connected with Rolando, his team and the people in the town. At the end of our stay and end of our vacation, I felt I was leaving home but somehow, I knew, this time, I was going to be back. We recommend this place for those travelers that need an urgent dose of calm and quiet while reconnecting with nature. This is an absolute gem of a hotel! You need a car though because it’s a bit outside of town. The rooms were absolutely immaculate and comfortable. To save money you could choose a smaller room that was VERY cozy as in hardly any room to move around for two with suitcases but we loved it because it was cozy and had a stunning view of a volcano. We had to move to a bigger room due to reservations that was about &40 more but lived that one too. Great view and a cute balcony. Beautiful garden. Only 6 rooms. The manager spoke perfect English and was gracious and helpful. The second night the owner showed up and she became our instant friend! She helped with planning and booking other great hotels in El Salvador|It was hard to say goodbye to this hotel. Note no restaurant for dinner but did have breakfast.
