This was our last stop on our 2 week vacation with our 6 year old twins and our adult kids. We had heard good things about this resort and were very excited to stay here. However, we actually ended up checking out after just a couple of hours in our family bungalow. Maybe our expectations were too high since we had already stayed at 3 other hotels and an Airbnb, that had been fabulous. I’m not sure, but we were very disappointed. Pros: The common grounds, the pools, kids play ground and the restaurants, were all very nice. And our waiter, Jonathon, was excellent. We only interacted with 4-5 staff members, and he was the only one that was pleasant, friendly and tried to ensure we had a good time. The food was OK. Again, we had the previous hotels to compare it to. |Cons: The bungalows need a serious remodel! The furniture is outdated and uncomfortable . The moldy smell inside the bungalow was unbearable for us. (All the hotels we stayed at were on the beach. Out of all the hotels, this one was actually the one furthest away from the beach. And none of the other hotels had that moldy smell. Just the opposite, they smelled clean and fresh.) The restrooms, again, outdated, and in dire need of a remodel. |Even though they told us there was hot water in the shower, the kids tried taking a shower after swimming in the pool, and there was no hot water. The staff at checkin seemed annoyed, not at all friendly or what you would expect from the first staff you meet at a hotel. She did not offer up any helpful information (i.e. the location of their restaurants, where the access to the beach was, how to get to our bungalow). And even though we didn’t need any help with our bags, my husband pointed out how at the other 3 hotels we had stayed at, staff quickly asked “can we help you with your bags”, but not here. Like I mentioned previously, had we not had such wonderful experiences during our trip at other hotels, we might not have felt so disappointed. Lastly, price wise, this hotel was comparable to the others we stayed at. It was not any cheaper. When we checked out around 9:30pm, they offered to move us to a different bungalow, but it was in the same condition. We just wanted to get out of there, and didn’t even ask for a refund. |** I would definitely go back on a day pass to enjoy a day at the pools, but wouldn’t think about spending the night until the bungalows...

My recent experience at this resort on January 1, 2024 left me thoroughly disappointed, and it's crucial to share the truth beyond the misleading online images. The facilities are in a deplorable state, showcasing evident signs of neglect and lack of maintenance. The bungalows are far from the advertised comfort, with dated and worn-out furniture, ancient bedding, and unbearable heat in the living room area – a stark contrast to the only relief found in the bedrooms equipped with air conditioning.||The appliances, including a minuscule refrigerator and a microwave reminiscent of a bygone era, reflect the resort's dire need for upgrades. The entire place begs for a fresh coat of paint to conceal the visible corrosion, and the outdated shower adds to the overall lackluster ambiance. The overall vibe is reminiscent of a poorly maintained motel rather than a resort.||Moving on to the service, the term "horrible" falls short. Enduring hours for basic services, even with an all-inclusive option, becomes a frustrating ordeal. The food offerings are minimal, resembling a street vendor's menu, with meager options like beans, eggs, and a solitary slice of bread for breakfast. Lunch mirrors this simplicity, further underscoring the lack of culinary variety. Ordering anything, be it food or drinks, becomes a test of patience, with overworked employees seemingly devoid of enthusiasm for their roles.||The nickel-and-diming approach adds insult to injury, and the service's sluggish nature hints at an overworked and dispirited staff. Spending time or money here is a regrettable decision, especially considering how the resort continues to sell memberships despite its dilapidated state and unimpressive location with little to offer.||Each night becomes a monotonous affair with lackluster live shows that resemble a subpar circus act rather than an engaging entertainment experience. Save yourself the disappointment and avoid this establishment at all costs. It's bewildering how they maintain the audacity to market memberships when the reality is an outdated, crumbling, and...

I must say the reception was the worst service. Went with my family and my mom and aunt. A group a 5. (Supposedly my daughter wasn't included cause she was only 5. So she didn't count. They wanted us to sleep in one open space room with two double beds. When realizing the accommodation wasn't going to work I asked if we can please be moved to another cabin with two rooms for some privacy. The lady at the front said once the room was assigned she is unable to move anyone without authorization. So we waited two hours after check in to get a response. And then was moved to single rooms which was fine. Until my mom got to her room and she was unable to get in her room because the step was over a foot high and my mother had just had hip surgery and suffers from polio. I asked if there was any way to add a small ramp or block to make a step to help her get in the room. They said they had nothing to add to make it easier to get in. So the front suggested lending me a wheelchair and pulling in my mom backwards. After telling him it was impossible the head of security came to try and told the guy at the front it's impossible she's going to get hurt..we need to add a step or change the room. The receptionist then said it was going to take another hour to see which room had a smaller step. Overall terrible service with reception not even explaining to me that the food my daughter was consuming was not in our package and I had to pay for it separately. The food was beyond delicious and the pools were amazing. I would definitely change the front desk as it is your first impression when staying at such a...

The service was outstanding, the food was of good quality, and juice and pop were available. However, beer was the only alcoholic beverage option. The area was well-maintained and clean, although it appeared slightly worn down. The large beach waves made swimming difficult. I was satisfied with my stay for a couple of days. However, I was let down by the towel service, as no beach towels were provided, and I was limited to using the single towel from my room, which was allocated one per guest.

I would give it 4.5 stars if I could. I came to this resort to spend an afternoon. The location is excellent, the pool is ample and the areas to bask in the sun are plentiful. There was just 2 things I had an issue with, the food while delicious was cold and the alcoholic drinks were not memorable. It's possible it was just an off day. I will definitely return and hope they improve upon the drinks. It's kid friendly and the ambience is fun.
