AMAZING STAFF from reservation abroad thru Wassap. AMAZING service since you check in , staff happily greet you and throughly explain everything and advise there are staff members on the property at all times for any matters. Premises are well maintained and staff is readily available picking up thru the bungalows, restaurant and all other lounging areas. Bathrooms are kept up with throughout the day along with the showering/changing areas (Id suggest placing some kind of shelving in the pool area shower/change station to place dry clothes in along with a curtain to block the view from the entrance for more privacy). 100% coming back and staying in their rooms as i was there just for a daypass with my family celebrating my mother's 72nd bday in which she was in looove with having her personal Bungalow with hammocks and table chairs. Enough room for 5-8 people to sit/lounge in. All included AM snack , lunch and refills on non alcoholic drinks is a fantastic deal! We decided to purchase full breakfasts in which we're priced well and had a great variety to chose from and cooked perfectly. Plenty of chairs to sit and enjoy the amazing views throughout the property . Nice kid friendly pool with lounge chairs and chairs, bottom level with just sitting to just enjoy the waves and a lower level to their 2+ beach filled pools which I suggest going in to just have amazing pictures. They do block it off during high tides for safety reasons and they also do skim it clean periodically.
Do wear water shoes if you are going down to the rocky area as it does get slippery and it isnt a "paved" walkway thru the rocky parts of these pools.. but all worth the extraordinary pics to take!
Staff was very attentive at all times! They all made my mother feel VERY SPECIAL with placing special decorated table for our family for lunch which was an over the top service they did and tipped them for it!
I ordered a cake for $25 which was delicious "Choco Fresa" super moist and well kept for my moms bday. We a had half the cake left with 5 of us ! No need to buy a cake for that special occasion, just reach out in time to reserve your cake ;)
I was visiting El Salvador from Long Island, NY and I drove 1.5hr from San Miguel and don't regret it!
Once the airport is built there this place will be booming for sure! Check it out beforehand.. if not just take a look at my videos/pics to experience a nice break from life or to celebrate that special day... you will fall in love and want to come back!
See you soon Mar y Sol

Read morePlease avoid this place if you are looking for an enjoyable hotel experience with your family. The commute to the hotel itself is what first displeased my family and I, as they are doing major construction on the roads and there were massive potholes and stops along the road that delayed our arrival time. I was originally excited for the pools and food, but was massively disappointed by both. The pools were extremely dirty, murky, and had a bad odor to them. Neither myself or my family members set foot in the pools. When attempting to go in the kids’ pool for my 7 year old, which was the cleanest of the pools, there was such a foul odor being emitted from the nearby bathrooms, I did not allow her to go in. The food was just bad, and mediocre at best. The food had little to no flavor, and the breakfast was the biggest upset. They had limited options that were obviously sitting around for a while. I even found old black residues in their so called “syrup”, which tasted more like honey. Finally, the room itself was only suitable to rest your head and nothing else. The bathrooms were dirty, and the water from the sink was salty when attempting to brush my teeth. We had to use bottled water for the remainder of our stay. The only positive thing that I can take away from this experience, was the staff. They were kind and patient with any of my questions and concerns. If you are looking for a nice beachside stay for yourself or your family, please avoid this hotel at all costs. The price of my stay was WAY too overpriced for the services and quality I...

If you’re a traveler visiting El Salvador I’d recommend this place for at least part of your stay. It’s reminiscent of the resorts you’ll find in Jamaica or the Bahamas, granted, at a much smaller scale and not all inclusive. However, your stay per night is per person, and includes 3 meals! The food is quite good and includes some drinks.
The rooms were a decent size and they were clean! With AC. This must be a fairly new resort, or at least it is well maintained. They have a kids pool, a splash pad and a larger pool. Lots of seating with tables and also lounge chairs. The best part was the access to the ocean via cemented steps on the rocky shore. Great way to experience the gray sand of a volcanic country. There’s also a life guard on duty.
The visit was very much appropriate for the services (st least by American standards) and it was welcoming to people of all ages and also large groups. You’ll have no problems in terms of mobility access to the majority of places. This doesn’t include the shore, given it’s all rocks so there are many steps.
The staff and servers were SO attentive and friendly, always ready to help. Overall, I was very happy with my stay and plan to...
