Hostal Doña Consuelo — Hotel in Departamento de Usulután

Amazing experience in the middle of the mountains. A hidden Gem in El Salvador. Beautiful location with beautiful gardens , fruit trees and nice and cool weather. Our party of 5 cousins fell in Love with the Owner and staff. We reserved the family room and it was nice , clean , spacious, and the bathroom was huge! The owner and staff were so welcoming and charming we felt we were family .The location is to dream of. Beautiful sunset and views for days! This location is high in the mountains so be aware that you need to get there early before the sun sets. I would not drive at night if you are not familiar with road. 5 out of 5. Everyone is super nice, and the grounds and views are beautiful. Rooms are clean, beds are super comfortable, there is air conditioning which we did not expect and hot water which is never expected but always a nice suprise. Humberto, the owner is awesome and super accommodating and speaks English, also a nice suprise since our Spanish stinks. We took some time to help him link his Google and Facebook accounts as we came here blind, unable to contact him, and hoped he was open. Don't let the limited reviews discourage you, he just wasn't connected!...

Tuve la oportunidad de visitar este hostal en enero. Llegar desde San salvador toma más o menos 2 horas 30 minutos. Al llegar a Jucuaran nos encaminamos en el vehículo hacia el hostal con la sorpresa que la calle estaba en reparación, esto no hubiese sido mayor problema si no hubiéramos llevado a una persona de la tercera edad, dejamos los vehículos en la calle principal y caminamos cuesta arriba. Al llegar al hostal fuimos recibidos por el personal que aunque íbamos insatisfechos porque no nos informaron del cierre de la calle colaboraron para ayudarnos con la persona mayor. El lugar es precioso. Se siente el toque de gusto en la construcción todo de madera y acogedor. Preciosas vistas y la habitaciones lindas. La persona encargada de el hotel Marvin es un caballero muy amable y hace que los huéspedes tengan una experiencia buena. Su esfuerzo es notorio. La comida es buena y tienen mucha variedad. La limpieza en las habitaciones es algo en lo que podrían trabajar pues la de nosotros no estaba del todo limpia. En resumen si lo que buscan es relajarse y desconectarse este es el lugar idóneo. Dejando a un lado la falta de comunicación de la calle cerrada y la limpieza de la habitación la estadía...
