Hotel Sevilla — Hotel in Departamento de Usulután

We got there for a week and a half stay and they did not have the rooms they had promised us to be next to family so that was a whole ordeal to fix. They ended up accommodating us on the same floor in a double room instead of the simple single one. We get to the room and out window didn’t close completely and out bathroom did not have a fan while others did. On the third day we came back to that room from a day out and a huge chunk of the carpet and the bathroom were soaking wet because the AC was leaking water. Called maintenance and they came “to drain it” but it kept dripping. After hanging out for a while in the room I look to the bottom of one of the beds and I see a LIVE cockroach! I immediately called the lobby and requested a new room and first thing they asked me is if I had been letting the custodian in the room the past days but that has nothing to do with the roach. The hotel was dirty and that’s why they were there. They offered a change in room but it was worse than the one we were on because they were under construction so the lady said they’ll do a full cleaning next day and whenever we came back the bathroom was still leaking and there was a funky smell like dark sewage water...

We made a reservation thru expidia to spend a night so we dont have to drive in the midle of the night to ur destinetion, when we got there around 10pm the door was luck we nock alot of time and no one came out we were ther for a hour no one came out, we had to go some were else to stay, the next morning we call the hotel and there excuse was the secutity fall sleep and didnt hear the door, call expidia and they will not refund the money cause the hotel say that no one came and check in on that day, after for a long time being on the phone going back and forwar they finely refund the money. they are some other hotels around that they realy want people to stay there and they are ral nice. I stayed there last July 2022, paid two nights but had lo leave after the first night. This nice young lady gave a little paper to redeem anytime. Today April 8 2023, I couldn’t find the little paper, but the front desk guy found me in the computer and would not honor my stay that I had already paid and thus why I give this cheaply run hotel two stars.
