Visiting from the States, Ingrid’s is very strategically located near the Parque de la familia where a lot of tourism and food options are located (about 4 minutes walk north). Staff was attentive and took us in at walk-in at a reasonable price (85$ for 1 night), they also offered somewhat convenient free parking and the rooms were pretty spacious with working cold AC and fridge area. The only issues were WiFi access and TV Claro service which they appeared to be trying to fix but wasn’t repaired at the time we were there. Overall much recommended location for visitors that want easy access to the city of La Union and its boardwalk...

This hotel is great, ample rooms, clean as a sunny sky, great accommodations with superb service. The location in the city puts you near everything, the Salvadorian charming shows from the smell of the linen to the dedicated attention their people bring out to the guests. Wir waren zu dritt für einen Bootstransit nach Nicaragua in La Union und wurden von dieser Unterkunft leider enttäuscht.

Gut: Wifi, zentrale Lage, AC

Schlecht: So ziemlich alles. Die Betten waren sehr ungemütlich, die Ausstattung sehr heruntergekommen, die Armatur im Badezimmer fällt auseinander, die Spülung im WC funktionierte nur selten, das ganze Haus macht einen generell unsauberen Eindruck. Weiterhin hatte die Küche keine Utensilien (keine Teller, kein Besteck etc.) und ein modriger Geruch hing in der Luft. Dafür ist der aufgerufene Preis eine Frechheit.
