Green life San Salvador — Hotel in San Salvador

We were traveling through the country and we needed a last minute place to stay, I called made a reservation and when we got there I didn't expect much. However, we were pleasantly surprised. What a beautiful place. We happen to arrive on a Saturday and it coincided with the next door neighbor selling some home made food. They only sell on Fridays and Saturdays. They had some homemade tamales 40 cents each, cheap and delicious. They also sold french fries for a dollar, also cheap and delicious.

Lastly I asked about getting some Pupusas, a friend back home told me to try them. The neighbors selling the food helped us get some ordered and delivered to us. They were a dollar each and a minimum order of 6 bucks. Also, cheap and delicious. We ended up having a great dinner for $10 and enjoyed it in the backyard of Green Life.

Back to the accomodations. This is a house has been tastefully turned into a "hotel". It's in a clean and safe neighborhood. It's obvious that the owners take pride in what they've done. Each room has it's own spacious restroom and it's all well thought of, neat and clean. The price made it all the better, $50 a night. When making the reservations the owner was respectful and courteous. My only complaint is that because of our travel plans we couldn't stay longer.

I WAS THERE FOR 2 DAYS FIRST DAY EVERYTHING GOOD WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE PILLOWS THE PILLOWS WERE NOT GOOD IT WAS IMPOSIBLE FOR ME TO GET COMFORTABLE THE 2ND DAY BIG SURPRISE THE TOWELS VERY HARD INTEAD TO BE SOFT YOU SCRASHES YOUR SKIN LIKE HARD RUG BUT NOT ONLY THAT THE TOWELS GAVE OFF A BAD SMELL LIKE BURNT CHICKEN FEATHERS BUT I DIDN'T SAY A WORD AND WHEN I POSTED THE REVIEW ON THE WEBSITE THE HOST/OWNER DISRESPECT ME SAYING THAT WHY I DIDN'T TAKE THE PILLOWS AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE IF HE/SHE IS THE HOST OR OWNER DEFINITELY THAT PERSON IS NOT QUALIFIED TO DO THE JOB TO ME THAT IS LACK OF EDUCATION IS A PERSON THAT DOES NOT LIKE TO SEE NEGATIVES COMENTS ACTING AS A TYRANT TOURIST PAY CAREFULLY ATTENTION DO NOT LET THIS PEOPLE ABUSE /DISRESPECT YOU COMENTS ARE TO CONSTRUCT BETTER SERVICE AND TREAT CUSTOMERS WITH KINDNESS AND LEARN HOW TO GIVE A BETTER SERVICE AND DON'T TRY TO BE TYRANT HE/SHE HAS TO LEARN GO BACK TO SCHOOL TO LEARN THAT THE CUSTOMERS ALWAYS ARE RIGHT,HOW TO TREAT CUSTOMERS I 100% DO NOT I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO NO BODY...

We really loved this places ! In our view one of the bests places to stay in San Salvador ! The onwers are just amazing ! Super nice and friendly & also super responsive in what regards the booking details ! The accomodation has been completely transformed and today it's better than an hotel ! The rooms are private, confy and extremely clean. You feel like home! The common area is also nice (good environment to stay and take a rest). Unfortunately we only stayed one night. If you go to El Salvador, San Salvador this is the place to stay. Again, super nice hosts they really know how to serve and take care...
