Metsaluige Kämping — Hotel in Häädemeeste vald

Very well maintained campsite that was our most pleasant stay coming from Finland. The restaurant is excellent, operating until 8 PM with welcoming staff who let us finish even arriving at 7:45 PM. Fish fillet and chicken cutlet were great with perfect portions for late dinner at affordable prices (10-15 EUR). The campsite charges 27 EUR regardless of electricity availability, which is problematic since there are no designated pitches and limited power points. We arrived late to find all electricity occupied, so stayed without power. The grass areas are beautifully maintained and didn't get muddy despite heavy rain. Kitchen facilities are well-equipped though missing electric kettle or microwave. Plenty of toilet and shower cubicles available, but the showers are frustrating with seconds-long push buttons and fixed shower heads. No drinking water signage but sink water seemed fine. Review is about the restaurant. It is a beautiful place and nice restaurant where to sit down. Since there was no other place around ( Lepanina Hotel restaurant was closed at the time) we decided to have a lunch there. Ordered “ Chicken pasta” for 11 euros. Was very disappointed with the food. First, it did not have any taste. Very bland! And there was hardly any chicken in the dish. Also it came with old and hard bread. ( sliced estonian black and semi white bread , Leib and Sepik) I was hoping for some fresh ciabatta or at least fresh Estonian bread and butter with it. The dish also did not have a salad, except 2 cherry tomatoes and and few rukola leaves on the top of the pasta. It would have been nice to have some shredded cheese on the top of it as well. Séjour du 29/06 au 01/07/22 Nous avons passé 2 nuits dans ce camping. Une 1ere serveuse, (avec des lunettes) s'occupe de nous correctement et aimablement au restaurant. Le lendemain midi, je vais réserver à nouveau une table pour le soir même : une autre serveuse, brune, assez désagréable, hautaine, me demande par 2 fois, pour quelle heure et où ns voulons dîner. Je lui réponds 19 h, et à l extérieur. Lorsque ns arrivons, à 19 h, mon mari va choisir les bières à l intérieur et elle lui dit que le restaurant est fermé. Comme il ne comprend pas -nous avons réservé le matin même à cette personne- elle sort lui montrer une affiche sur laquelle est inscrit l horaire de cette semaine : le restaurant ferme à 19 h ! Pourquoi avoir pris la réservation ? Sans parler du type qui se balade ds le resto, sans dire bonjour, sans vous demander s'il peut vs renseigner, et qui a pourtant l air d' être le patron... Le camping est correct mais il faut payer 7 euros pour aller à la piscine... Sur les 2 jours, les sanitaires n ont pas été nettoyé... Quant à l accueil des estoniens... sans commentaire... pas de bonjour, jamais un sourire. Surprenant... Il ne s'agit pas de faire un joli bâtiment en rondins pour la réception : s'il n'y a pas de respect du client et de savoir-vivre, ceux-ci ne resteront pas ! Nous sommes extrêmement déçus des estoniens, la politesse chez eux est tout à fait inexistante ! Des motards français et heureux...
