After a 15 minute drive from the nearest town, Haapsalu, you arrive at a 18th century manor building the owner and his wife have made into their home and a place to stay for you. We enjoyed adjoining rooms with a bathroom to each, high ceilings, large windows and good beds. There was also a small hall with a refrigerator and a selection of household articles. We could sit at the terrace for our evening meal (brought along) and look over the plentiful old manor park with a small playground for kids. We took a stroll to the nearby bird watching tower and enjoyed the sight of numerous highland cattle grooming the local cultural landscape along the way. Breakfast was plentiful for our needs, home cooked oatmeal, jams, cereals og different types, yoghurt, milk, eggs, hams and cheeses, bread and butter, a selection of fruits and vegetables. The room was clean, comfortable and functional.||||The host was very welcoming and friendly and since I wanted an early start in the morning she prepared me a takeaway breakfast the night before.||||Haeska Manor is highly recommended for birdwatchers and I would definitely stay again on any future visit to Estonia and Matsalu...

Building itself is "manor" from outside, inside contains just some historic elements. Rooms are different ,various pieces of furniture are used ,and the equipment is incomplete (there were teapot,tea, but no cups/glasses ,broken blinds etc.) .Adequate breakfast ,free parking.
