Merekalda Apartments — Hotel in Haljala vald

Unfriendly place for hikers. We did day hike by the coast of Golf of Finland. Even if the private territory is close to water there should be left minimum 10 m for public pass. Not at this place. The fence was even in the water. We asked permission to pass , but where rejected. May be they are nice to direct clients, but to our group they were definitely unfriendly. I,m glad that we did not stay there but in another...

Merekalda is a very clean and peaceful guesthouse. The service is excellent. Information about the Käsmu village and the surrounding area is readily available.

From the door of the apartment, you can immediately access the beach to enjoy nature and bird watching.

Sami has been to Merekalda six times and has appreciated the place and the hosts in the same way since 1997.

Merekalda on hyvin siisti ja rauhallinen majatalo. Palvelu on erinomaista. Informaatiota Käsmun kylästä ja lähiympäristöstä on hyvin saatavilla.

Huoneiston ovelta pääsee välittömästi rantaan katselemaan luontoa ja lintujen elämää.

Sami on jo kuudetta kertaa Merekaldassa ja arvostanut paikkaa sekä isäntää ja emäntää samalla tavalla vuodesta 1997 lähtien.

Guest house davvero molto suggestiva, in riva al mare, composta da bei bungalows a due piani di cui il secondo mansardato. Abbiamo avuto la fortuna di avere quello vista mare. Arredamento semplice ma di buon gusto, spaziosi, bel bagno, luminosi. Direi senza veri difetti: c'era anche il microonde che da quelle parti è tutt'altro che scontato. Unico difetto: non accettano pagamenti elettronici: solo contanti, credo a volte tentando di non dare la ricevuta. I proprietari sono decisamente poco cordiali, ma il posto vale davvero la pena, come i dintorni se amate natura selvaggia e pace. Dimenticavo... i due cigni in mare, poco al largo del pontile, sono di plastica. Chissà perché, visto che ce ne sono a decine di quelli veri, volanti e...
