Kalameeste maja — Hotel in Mustvee vald

We stayd in the Fisherman's hotel for one night with our friends - the owner was super friendly and very easy to reach. We were surprised about the interior, it was modern and very well mixed together. Everything was really clean, the air was fresh (no bad smell as often in similar hostels) and there were plenty of places to sit and grill outside. Although they don't serve breakfast, then it is really convenient that there is a gas station quite near, where you can take fresh coffee and bakeries in the morning. Excellent place to get some few days for peace of mind. Maybe not the best for swimming (due to shallow water) but excellent views of lake covers it all. Small, quite town with lots of places to get smoked fish right from the oven. And Kalamestemaja or Fisherman's house as one of the best (or THE BEST) hotel in between. Right at the lake shore. We had a nice stay at this simple and cozy motel. The view to the lake is pretty awesome as well. You can rent a boat or a bike here and go for a tour around the municipality. A good choice for a 2-3 day getaway. The only minus is that there was no floor heating turned on. The rooms were a bit chilly....
