Oitme Hostel — Hotel in Saaremaa vald

I knew I would get there a bit late, so I worried if there would be any staff (the whole Island starts to extinguish at sunset). I got there, the lights were on in the lobby, and a note was waiting for me with my room key. I was the only customer in the whole building, still, it felt very warm and cozy. And it is very cheap (call and ask for the prices). Later in the evening, the owner came with bread and coldcuts, suspecting that I could have skipped dinner. There is a kitchen and a living room with wifi. The building is stunning, a tastefully renovated old barn, with sculptures and artworks. This hostel used to be soviet barn for cows. Not sure if this place is opened on regular basis. I spent a day there when the whole place was booked for an event. I didn't sleep indoors but in dent. No running water outside and had to go into main building for basic hygiene. Classic outhouse near camping area. The main building has small sauna which is cool.
