Good view on the pound and peaceful atmosphere around is a main advantage. The building is old and a bit shabby, but the room is relatively spacious and looks nice. A comfortable big bed.
However, the bathroom was a disappointment, tiny, with a boiler that didn't provide hot water in the evening, just slightly warm, not enough pressure.
No shower cabin, the shower tray is almost over the toilet, and after taking a shower the whole floor is wet.
The breakfast is very basic. The range of food was formal. On the other hand, you may use the cafe facilities - cattle, refrigerator, microwave, plates and cups.
The person on the reception looked untidy. His hair and clothes were a mess. He tried to talk us into paying in cash or by private by bank transfer. Why, we didn't get. Later it turned out that paying with a card actually worked.
No conditioner! It must br very hot in summer. However, in the evening in April I was freezing.

We really enjoyed our stay here, a simple motel style room but very clean and airy. The staff were very helpful and friendly, suggesting places to eat and visit in nearby Tartu.
