Had an absolutely magical time here at Nurmeveski. Hands down one of most relaxing, beautiful, and authentic parts of the trip to Estonia & surprisingly easy to add on to a trip to Tallinn. Highlights were the hosts who are incredibly kind and helpful, a sunny trip up the river in the little yellow row boat where we saw a deer, baby ducks, & sheep. Keep your eyes out for beavers too! Swimming in the river was perfection, followed by a wonderful sauna. I wish I could do that every day. You feel so relaxed. Playing ping pong and trying their small-batch wine & cider made with apples or rhubarb from the property was a blast. The ruins of the old mill are cool, well-preserved and the hosts are full of stories and pictures of the history of the various buildings if you are curious. Loved the big throne/chair and benches handmade by the host's father. It's great to see family businesses like this. The home cooked breakfast buffet was delicious, my favourite was the pancakes with homemade strawberry jam. I appreciated the green focus, like solar panels, reclaimed carved wood furniture outdoors, & homegrown breakfast ingredients. Also by lucky timing the annual rhubarb crop was ready when I was there and I asked if I could join & watch the process for preparing cider - a rare but lovely experience, with 3 generations collaborating. For other international visitors it's easy to use this spot as your home base to check out Pärnu & area. Nearby we visited the Pärnu beach (about 10 minute drive) where we tanned and swam in the sea. Great beach, not to be missed. Patio lunch at a nearby pizza restaurant was nice and walking through the city. I also recommend visiting a spa if you like, there are so many to choose from. And check if there are any festivals while you are there particularly in the summer. We drove to a beautifully peaceful nature reserve bog (about 30 minutes from Nurmeveski) to walk on the boardwalks, see the view from an observation tower, and eat wild bluberries. It's lovely to swim in the water there, a very Estonian experience and totally quiet. The room was large and the bed comfortable with everything needed. The bathroom was shared but I never had to wait to use it and it was always spotless. Very nice hot shower and good water pressure. I enjoyed sitting on the couches in the sun rooms and walking barefoot to different benches outside in the sun, reading my book amongst the flowers. Needless to say, we'll be back! I want to use the bbq area and the football pitch next time as my boyfriend loves playing football. And swim in the river every morning. Thank you to the whole family: Marje, Jaak, Peeter, Kaili, Priit & Sirje for a truly special visit.

Lovely, comfortable and surrounded by a beautiful landscape, this guesthouse is the best possible choice if you want to have a relaxing weekend near Pärnu. It's a bit far from the center (7-8 km) and the busses are do not pass by there too often, but the taxi to the city center is quite cheap. It has a barbecue area, a lake with a boat, hammocks and everything you need to relax for a while. And the lady is friendly, kind and helpful (and the breakfast was awesome!)...

😊: The surroundings were simply wonderful – a beautiful place with many old trees, peaceful and quiet. The area is cozily arranged, with blooming flowers and clear signs of loving care. There are hammocks to relax in and space for children to play football. Everything is thoughtfully set up with love and attention to detail. The room was also very charming and cozy – we felt...
