Felixi külalistemaja — Hotel in Viljandi linn

Typical small Viljandi hotel. I will list plusses and minuses and one huge issue that affected our stay very much.

Quiet place in countryside like part of the town. Cozy. Smart TV with Youtube, films etc. Balcony. Water pressure is good, comparing to other places. Friendly administrator.

Everything is quite old and dirty: walls, furniture etc. No cabin in shower - impossible not to fill the whole floor in bathroom with water. Poor breakfast with very small choice and cheapest ingredients. Seems, that friendly administrator is the only staff in the hotel, person all-in-one: owner (may be), cleaner, cook, gardener etc. No way he can fix everything alone.

And the most important one... BEDBUGS IN THE ROOM. When we discovered this, immediately told administrator about the problem. He called disinfecting service and they processed our room. Other rooms were not available, so we could not change it. Unfortunately disinfection hasn't solved the issue fully. We've been given some spray against insects, and every night at around 3 AM turned into hunting for these little red creatures, as it was impossible to sleep because of awful itch. It turned out that this problem is in some other Viljandi hotels as well. Most probably it started because of ukrainian refugees (our hotel hosted them too). I am putting 2 stars, not 1, just for attempts of administrator to help. Its understandable that hotel is not guilty initially and its hard to solve a problem quickly. Still, it was known earlier that there is such risk and some extra cleaning/disinfection could be applied. As well as keeping overall level of cleanliness much higher...
