Firstly, Hamonah did not come to get me and my husband from the airport as previously arranged. We were left stranded at 3am in a foreign country. We ended up having to pay for a expensive airport taxi. The taxi took us to a nearby hotel. So we wasted money because of Hamonah failing to pick us up from the airport. And we had to pay for a hotel we didn't even choose. Hamonah front desk closes too early and the phones were not working so I wasn't able to contact the Guesthouse until I decided to send the manager a text message. The next day the manager picked us up from the other hotel. When we arrived to the Guesthouse we were told the Tv, phones and Wi-Fi were broken. This was a great disappointment. So we sat in a cold boring room with no tv or Wi-Fi for 4 days. The tv and Wi-Fi was fixed 2 days before we left, but it was disappointing to find out only 6 channels were available. Then the evening of my last day ALL the power went out. The manager did give me a "free" day but it wasn't really free since I had to pay for the other hotel and taxi due to their error. My room was dirty. The carpets were full of stains. The walls had black smears all over. The floor tiles were disgusting. The bathroom walls were dirty. The bed seemed clean, but we did find a flea in the sheets. My room had no fresh air access, so it got really stuffy. There is no heating, fan or ac. The kitchen in my room had 2 rusted pots, 2 small plates and 2 forks. The room was spacious but dark. I could also hear the kids from the school next door. It sounded like they were in my bathroom. Nobody cleaned my room the whole stay. I had to ask for clean towels and toliet paper. The lobby is nice but office staff was not helpful and won't help you get around town or anything unless you pay them. The free breakfast is a joke. Its just bread. The area is boring. Overall I'm highly dissatisfied. And when it was time for us to leave the manager tried to make us pay for another day because she "misunderstood" when we were leaving. Even though it was written on the contract and in the emails. So we got screwed the whole stay. They didn't even want to take us back to the airport. Only after we said we were going to call the police the manager changed her mind. Not recommended for anyone that wants to be able to get around easily, likes clean accommodations or...
Read moreI stayed here for a week and I couldn't wait to leave. Me and my friend shared a room. It was big but thats about the only positive. The power goes out often. I think there is a mildew/mold problem because we both got a terrible sinus infection while we were there. We kept sneezing when we went in the room. The area is loud because there is a school right next door. The walls have no insulation so we could hear everything and it was freezing at night. The beds were ok. The mattress was cheap quality. The satellite tv only has a few channels to pick from. The free breakfast was bland. Everyday we had multiple forms of bread or cereal with hot milk. The manager is like some young girl that doesn't know anything about customer service. She is not helpful or maybe she just doesn't care. The maids never cleaned our room and we had to go ask for everything we needed. Our room definitely wasn't clean upon arrival. The carpets by the beds had stains all over them. The floor tile had dirt all in the cracks. The walls look like they are never wiped. Blood spots were on the ceiling from where people killed bugs. The front desk workers are not very helpful and if they don't offer any advice to tourist. The area is dead when it comes to things to do. For the price I would recommend staying closer to the city center. The quality of service was poor. Its like they just get your money then you're on your own...

It's near the Cock Wine restaurant and the Bashale Hotel, very nice places to dine { walking distances} .There is a fridge, balcony, Sat. TV, White bedding's, Microwave, Hot shower, White bathroom. All perfect. Staffs even offered some free calls to assist me contact my people there. Very helpful - Thanks Anna!||||LOWS: They are contracting roads so it's some what dusty out side the hotels, not to ideal to walk. The breakfast is termed to be Continental, but it ain't. It's somehow flat and the milk + cheese seems kept out too long. { Shower leaks to the floor - this should be sorted out}||||OVERALL: I would give this a 9/10 in the league of small guest houses - It's a really...
