Title: Unjust Discrimination at Heyday Hotel
Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ (1/5)
I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with Heyday Hotel, and I feel compelled to share my review to shed light on the unjust discrimination I encountered. It is disheartening to witness a hotel denying a bridal shower simply because of the religious beliefs of those organizing the event.
A group of us, who happen to be evangelical Christians, had planned to host a bridal shower at Heyday Hotel. Our intention was to celebrate the upcoming wedding with joy and camaraderie, including singing a few songs that hold special meaning to us. However, when we approached the hotel management to finalize the arrangements, we were shocked to learn that they refused to allow our event to take place.
The reason provided by the hotel was that they did not want any religious activities or expressions to occur on their premises. This discriminatory act left us feeling deeply hurt and marginalized. It is deeply troubling to witness such intolerance in an establishment that claims to provide hospitality to all guests.
Heyday Hotel's decision to deny our bridal shower based solely on our religious affiliation is a clear violation of the principles of equality and respect. As paying customers, we expected to be treated fairly and without prejudice. Singing songs of celebration is a cherished tradition in many cultural and religious contexts, and it is disheartening to see Heyday Hotel disregard this important aspect of our event.
Hospitality establishments like Heyday Hotel should embrace diversity and create an inclusive environment for all patrons. It is unacceptable to discriminate against individuals based on their religious beliefs, especially when it involves joyous occasions such as a bridal shower. All guests should be treated with dignity and respect, regardless of their faith or background.
I strongly urge Heyday Hotel to review and revise their policies to ensure they align with the principles of inclusivity and non-discrimination. Discrimination based on religious beliefs is not only morally wrong but also goes against the values of a fair and welcoming society.
In conclusion, my experience with Heyday Hotel was tarnished by unjust discrimination. I cannot recommend this establishment to anyone who values equality and fair treatment. It is my hope that Heyday Hotel takes this review seriously, reevaluates its practices, and makes the necessary changes to prevent such unjust discrimination from occurring...
Read moreWe stayed in this hotel for almost two months and we didn't even think about moving, the hotel manager and staff were very experienced and friendly, they showed us their culture and they were very helpful and professional. They will treat you like family.
The main reason for staying here is for the support you get from the people working in the hotel. They helped us with so many things that was never apart of their jobs. If I had questions about how to get somewhere or if I needed something from the store in an emergency someone was willing to help us and look after us like family. The deputy manager personally took special care of us. In a way that was completely unexpected. The staff has a big heart and that is the reason why you...
