Lalibela Hidmo Cozy Place — Hotel in Amhara Region

I wish there were more stars. Hidmo is listed as hotel but it’s the kind of place the moment you get there you feel that is much more. Family run small business with a big heart in everything they do ❤️ The attention for detail and care is just incredible, you get what you need before you ask . The family man behind this place is Desta , I prefer to call him the King of Lalibela. The Ethiopian hospitality is well known worldwide and Desta took everything above and beyond. The food was delicious, breakfast amazing. He gave us a list of places to experience more local food but nothing compares of what I had at Hidmo . My room was excellent, with a breathtaking view, they didn’t miss anything of my request. Not only made me feel home but he did everything In his power to find a better accommodation next to Hidmo for my brothers,after the worst experience with another hotel .
