WATCH OUT FOR CROCODILES!!! The Beseka lake is where the residents of Metehara go to wash their clothes, body, vehicles, animals and fetch water for their household. It's also a means of access to drinking water for the livestock and people. In recent years, the lake has been increasing both in size and depth and the crocodiles leaving in it have become numerous. For the past five years or so the crocodiles have been causing problems and attacking both humas and animals. Although there are so many cases of human-wildlife conflict in the area, including people being killed and left physically impaired for life by the crocodiles, the people seem to be very relaxed...
