Nice drive to get to this place. Amazing scenery around the Portuguese Bridge. But the German Hotel has closed down and now all that “greet” you are are local chancers trying to charge a fortune for parking and generally just ruining what could be a nice day out....

Great place! Nice Ethiopian food. Wonderful view. Really pleasant service. The trails to the edge of the Rift Valley, waterfalls and Portuguese bridge are great too. Awesome for kids 6 and up, but a bit risky for little kids given fast flowing water...

We stopped here for lunch and first hiked down to the bridge. The lodge is completely run down and I would not stay here right now. However the food was good and the view was incredible. The lady prepared good food and we...

Great place! Nice Ethiopian food. Wonderful view. Really pleasant service. The trails to the edge of the Rift Valley, waterfalls and Portuguese bridge are great too. Awesome for kids 6 and up, but a bit risky for little kids given fast flowing water near the edge.

We stopped here for lunch and first hiked down to the bridge. The lodge is completely run down and I would not stay here right now. However the food was good and the view was incredible. The lady prepared good food and we really enjoyed.

Beautiful canyon but not as grand as the Grand Canyon. But by itself, it is definitely a breathtaking sight. Do walk along the trail to the Portuguese Bridge which was built in the 16th century. The landscape is beautiful.
