Haile Resort, Ziway — Hotel in Oromia Region

Can’t comment on the hotel rooms as we stopped to have lunch here on the way to Addis Ababa from Awassa. The grounds are beautiful and we dined surrounded by trees! The food was simple and delicious. But perhaps the best thing on the lunch menu were the fresh fruit juices in which there are layers of different fruit juices. The hotel is situated on Lake Ziway and I’d definitely like to return for a boat ride on the lake and to try the hotel. Staff were very pleasant and professional! An excellent resort, again as reputable as Haile's magic touches. The rooms (New Villa) are of exceptional comfort and spacious. The swimming pool is of room temperature, you'll find it difficult to swim in the early morning after a cold night. The gym, sauna & steam are a bit small... can get too crowded at times.
