This was one of the wort experiences I have had in a hotel, we booked 3 days earlier, and by the time we arrived the owner told us he has no place for us in the restaurant and told us to eat outside. He then added he will also not provide breakfast as he is overwhelmed in the kitchen. Read moreEvangadi lodge is a great place to stay. The rooms are large, clean and well maintained. The surrounding area is great too. Several birds visit during the day, there are Hamar villages close by, and they have a huge compound that you can walk around. A walk to entrance allows you see the boys with their donkey carts collecting water, a much sought after necessity in Ethiopia. The staff are really very friendly, and try as hard as possible make your stay comfortable. The food is tasty, and if you have time, you could even help them light up the fire for the evenings bread...Good memories...
