A Terrible Experience – Avoid Mora Heights Hotel!||I made a reservation at Mora Heights Hotel 10 days in advance for a 2-night stay during my visit to Arba Minch. To ensure everything was in order, I called three times to confirm my booking and asked if they provided an airport pickup, especially since I was traveling with my 1-year-old baby. The receptionist assured me that while they didn’t have a dedicated pickup service, they could arrange a car for me. I also asked about payment, and she confirmed that they accept payment on arrival and that my booking was confirmed.||||Unfortunately, none of that happened. I had to take a Bajaj from the airport to the hotel, only to face an even worse situation upon arrival.||||When I tried to check in, the receptionist claimed I had no reservation. I showed my call history as proof, and after several minutes of confusion, he suddenly admitted that I did have a reservation—but it had been canceled for an unknown reason. His explanation? He claimed that the female receptionist I spoke to over the phone was not actually a receptionist and had registered my number incorrectly, leading to my booking being canceled.||||To make matters worse, he bluntly told me there were no available rooms and that there was nothing he could do—without a single apology! Instead of trying to help, he just stood there, waiting for us to leave.||||If you’re wondering why I didn’t prepay, it’s because I had called back after making the reservation to ask about payment options, and I was told they accept payment on arrival.||||Frustrated, I demanded to speak with the manager, hoping for a resolution. But the so-called manager was just as unprofessional. The best he could offer was a cup of tea and a half-hearted apology, saying "These things happen." No effort was made to find us an alternative hotel, no concern for our situation.||||Mind you, this entire time, my family was left standing, I was holding my 1-year-old baby, and it was already 3 PM. Not a single staff member showed any concern.||||In the end, it was the kind Bajaj driver—not the hotel—who helped us find another place to stay by calling different hotels on our behalf.||||The staff, the manager—everyone at this hotel was unprofessional, unethical, and completely unhelpful. I am beyond grateful that we did not end up staying there.||||I strongly advise against booking this hotel. DO NOT GO TO MORA...
