This is the only place to see penguins really close. It's about a 2.5 hour bumpy jeep ride and when you arrive, you will have to walk about 20 minutes to the beach. You have to walk on penguin poo/urine to get close up to the penguins. It's quite daunting, so bring something to cover your nose or put something in your nose to soften the smell. Wear a pair of good walking shoes and wear a scarf or hat as it gets quite breezy. It's an unforgettable and life time experience.

We loved it, it is the most unique spot on the Falklands in terms of penguins, place to stay and hosts. We would really want to go once more. Hopefully it will not be overcrowded by tourist in the coming years.

Spectacular sightseeing of king penguins in their natural habitat. Worth visiting.
