Lander's Bay resort & spa fiji — Hotel in Viti Levu

First of all, a round of applause to the staff, they are the absolute highlight of this place, hospitable beyond what words can describe. Everyone is always there to take care of whatever you need! The rooms are great, the advertised attached pool was mostly not usable as it was not clean. The restaurant setup is great! But the menu is very limited and for vegetarians , there's just one option. There is an amazing Indian restaurant at the Nila resort, which is just 1km walk from this resort, serves amazing veg and non veg Indian food and more, so we just walked there once and wished we discovered it in advance.

Inquire locally, car rentals are available for about fjd 120 a day.

Location: Located about 35 mins north to the airport, it's a little far from the major attractions of Nadi, which are mostly near port denarau. But we did try transportation by local buses which stop right outside the resort and run every 30 mins I think. To go to Nadi though, you would have to change a bus by getting down on queens road. Easily doable if you have the time.

Views: Views are amazing and it's a very relaxing place to enjoy the beach in the morning and evenings, but when low tide strikes, the water disappears and the beach is mostly unusable, the low tide was mostly between 9am to 1 pm though. Unacceptable Failure on Our Wedding Day I am writing this review with immense disappointment and frustration. We booked a room at this hotel 90 days in advance for a very specific and special occasion: our wedding night. We had every detail planned, and this hotel was meant to be the place we would spend our first night as a married couple. Upon arrival, tired and excited after a long day of celebrating, we were told by the front desk that our room was not available. They had apparently overbooked and were unable to honor our reservation. This is not only a breach of contract but a complete failure to understand the gravity of the situation. This wasn't just a regular booking; it was our wedding day. The hotel's failure to provide the room we had reserved caused significant stress and disappointment at a time that was meant to be joyous. We were left scrambling to find a different place to stay late at night. The lack of professionalism and basic customer care shown by the hotel staff on such a crucial day is simply shocking. The restort is very run down and outdated.Could be a five star with some cosmetic work. The staff are friendly and very lay back. My room was average clean tidy and comfy beds, but no TV. Great view though. Furniture outdated.Tea/coffee facilities in room with a fridge.WIFI free extremely slow. Free breakfast Basic gym equipment Food and drinks delicious but very expensive.Bring your own snacks as there is no on site shop. Happy hour daily between 6pm till 7pm. Located far from anywhere so having a car would be helpful, eitherwise it's taxis and you are looking at $FJD30 to 40 to get to places (one way).
