Portaan Nahkurinverstas — Hotel in Forssa sub-region

Nahkurinverstas - the leather crafters workshop- is really lovely and historical place in the middle of a small idyllic countryside village. The buildings are old, the rooms are cozy and unique -like at grandmother's. Breakfast was superb with hand made fresh buns and sauna that was heated for us was totally amazing! Service was very friendly and we felt like at home. The leather crafters workshop museum was very special and also in the surroundings there are quite some interesting things to explore -both cultural and nature places. Porras tannery is located by small river in the village of Porras. This is real local experience if you want to have a small escape in the Finnish countryside. The garden, small river and so nice little bridge are like from other world or from the history.||||The story of the house and the family is really interesting. I spent a night here in February. We were a group of four people and we stayed in an apartment with six beds. The apartment was on the top floor of a wooden house, and it was spacious, very cosy and clean.||||Portaan Nahkurinverstas is located in a very quiet environment close to the nature. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, and they prepare a good breakfast upon request.
