The room was not very clean, as we entered, had a dark long hair in the bathroom sink, bathroom floor was wet and the room was very hot. All the family rooms were taken though, so we could not get a change of room. The only restaurant open at the property was a lakeside restaurant, but it seemed quite understaffed. After 30 minutes in the restaurant we had only managed to be seated, but the table had not been cleaned after previous guests nor had we been given any menus. We decided to leave and eat elsewhere ending up driving about a half an hour to the nearest restaurant which was in Hämeenlinna. The idea of the hotel with all the activities is quite nice, but the activities are quite small scale and the hotel a bit outdated. Considered leaving before the first night already, but decided to give it a another chance. Would not come back for a second...

During 3 days professional exhibition in Tampere, most of hotels were fully booked, so I found this familiar resort less than one hour's drive at neighborhood of Hameenlinna (which is just half away between Helsinki and Tampere). I've visited the same place earlier, a couple of years ago. They gave me a std room at 3rd floor, windows towards the Vanajavesi Lake. It was beautiful sun going down evening, so I took some photo's from room. Didn't enjoyed dinner there after my arrival so just tasted some coffee and drinks at late evening. Heard that hotel has a new owner and they will improve service & concepts in the future. The best of place is absolutely it's significant outdoor activities and scenic towards lake. Price was also reasonable. I will remember this place also for...

A lakeside hotel with free activities including rowing, cycling, gym etc. Nice terrace restaurang with good food at the beach. Scenery is as good as it can be at finnish lakeside, so reaaally nice. But the hotel is a bit worn, maintaining needs more attention, service varies from friendly to more of a "old school". Basic rooms are really basic, but clean and with spacious bathrooms. Breakfast is a good one except the "egg-like" yellow jelly. Why? Eggs are too cheap in Finland. Suggestion: pls add locally produced wines and ciders to bar offerings. They need more visibility as they are much better than you...

Super great for families with children, a decent price and lot of lot of free of charge activities like bycicles, minigolf, paddling boats, fishing, tennis field, an archery game, 4-wheel byciclea for children, swimming in the lake, finnish sauna, billiards and ok breakfast. The room for 4 was modern, maybe a bit too hot due to the unusual heatwave. We enjoyed the lake and the sunset.

Nice place, very kind and responsible personal. Even the hotel building is old, and probably, need some renovation, we like our weekend spend there. Sunset view from the beach was awesome, restaurant offered VEGAN options by request, dog friendly rooms are avaliable.
