Those who come to Finland, Helsinki who don't have any one any relatives, friends ,family. I will better recommend to stay in the hostel . You will get you own privacy your own peace no any discussion with any one. And The room that I stayed was very big and it was a entire biggest room of the hostel. The hostel is peace and silent. I stayed there for a year. I really liked this place and it has my heart. Initially I don't want to leave the hostel but I have to because of my own reason. The location is very nice. You will get all the bus tramp and train easily. Walking distance for train station is 8 min it is good to walk for 8 min and its near by from our hostel. Easy access, if you want to go for helsinki , leepavara, pasila ,any where it is a prime location. The toilet is always clean. You will get all the things you want in the kitchen, toilet,such as utensils , soap, dishwasher, tissues , sponge everything.Overall the stay in the hostel is very good. There is no any issue's. You are not allowed to smoke inside the building which is very good. You will find the lounge to relax or party in the underground or even if you want to study it is a good place. The price is very reasonable and you will get all the furnished room ( personal refrigerator , lamp, kettle, plate spoon, bowl, trash plastics, knife, can opener, potato peeler, scissors). So If you are new you don't have anything then they will provide all the things in your room and it is included with the price that you pay for your stay no any extra charges .You just need to enjoy your stay. And don't worry with the people who drinks and smoke outside of the building. Just mind your own things. These people will be in their own zone you should stay in your own. But people who don't clean the kitchen after their use it is not any fault of the hostel. This place is not safe and happy to stay. Even though forenom has CCTV Camera and non 🚭 stickers in front of main door, 24*7 people who are staying here always drinking and smoking outside of the main door. Initially I stayed on second floor people who are living on second floor they are not flushing restroom and cleaning is not happening on Saturday and Sundays. Bathrooms and laundry rooms are very dirty all the time. In kitchen people who used to cook they are not even cleaning their vessels. So now I shifted to third floor. Initially I didn't noticed that my refrigerator is not working but I put all my 50 euros worth food inside my refrigerator. On that night @11 pm I have noticed that refrigerator is not working and all my food items are spoiled. I called customer care and they said it will take one day time to fix that problem. On next day morning I moved the refrigerator (it was heavy weight) alone and I noticed plug is not fixed properly and I fixed that plug and it took to cool my refrigerator on next day. So almost two days in didn't used refrigerator and it's hard for me in this summer time. I requested to forenom via email about this problem and compensation. I didn't get reply for past one week.

In kitchen dishwasher soap is not good quality. It's not smelling good at all. It's very poor quality.

Due to pandemic period. Even though they posted in forenom website they used to clean their environment but I would say this is worst hostel in finalnd. I recommend people not to stay here mainly for children and ladies is not at all good place to stay.

I was living in this hostel for about 6 months. Rooms are approximately 10 m2 by size (no difference between single and double rooms). There is a TV, a coffee maker and a kettle and also a fridge in every room. Basic dishes in every room included.

Kitchen and the bathroom are shared. In the kitchen there should be some basic pan and kettle to prepare food. Sometimes those are missing or you need to look after those from different floor kitchen... There are a toaster, a microwave oven and a stove with an oven in the kitchen. There are washing machines and tumble dryer also to cope with your laundry. Basic cleaning equipment (vacuum cleaner, brush and mop) are also there for your use.

Usually the rooms are quiet and peaceful, of course depending of your neighbours. The common places are okay - what you need for a everyday living but nothing fancy. Also the premises are a bit past and could be cleaner too. Toilets and the showers are not too welcoming.

There is NO reception here, prepare to handle everything online and beforehand - or prepare yourself to call a quite expensive phone number to get some advice (and also you need to wait some minutes before anyone will answer your call).

The location is quite good and the public transport connections are great to reach Helsinki city centre, Espoo or Vantaa easily.

This hostel is a good choice for you if you don't expect too much for the rooms and premises and prefer more the location and a normal place to sleep. It would be more welcoming and cosy if the premises would be a bit updated and also...
