The hotel itself is amazing. The room we had included a balcony with beautiful view to the Finnish countryside. The hotel itself is in a amazing location and the separated small buildings for accommodation is fantastic for someone who wants peace and quiet. The rooms are well maintained and seems to have been modernised recently. The shower is fantastic. The facilities are also amazing. Separated male and female sauna. Pool with changing rooms and a ok sized gym. Breakfast is also nice with the best part personally being the loose leaf tea selection. More hotels should offer this. However, not all is amazing. A particular person at the reception isn’t friendly at all and should be given a training on how to behave in front of customers. Also, reception is not 24hrs and could be a problem for late arrivals. Especially on Sunday as reception was only open till 1pm. All good hotels should always have 24hrs reception just in case some things happen or there are particular requests. The pool facility is only open for around 3hrs a day. That’s just not acceptable. People select some hotels because of amenities such as pools. 3hrs is just not enough. And it’s closed all day Sunday which is just stupid. Other small things include really hot rooms with no a/c (but we had a unusual heat wave this summer so not really the hotels fault). I wish I could give it a rating of 5 because it does deserve it, but small things made...

All are renovated and the main building is new. ||||The location a bit aside the main road but still close to the airport and city of Helsinki is both a boon and a draw-back: arrival by car is easy, parking ample, taxi ride expensive and public transport cumbersome.||||The rooms are very nice, mine felt brand-new with an excellent bed and good air condition. The bathroom felt fine, the new "raindrop" shower was fun. The night was quiet but in the morning sounds from the corridor could be heard. ||||The breakfast was a let-down: the selection was more or less satisfactory but the scrambled eggs and carelian pastries on offer were not hot, barely lukewarm (breakfast-time is 7 - 10 on sundays, I arrived at 9), and some dishes stood empty for too long, as did the bread board.||||The personnel was friendly and the ambiente fine, but especially the breakfast service needs a...
