Hotelli Hirsiranta — Hotel in Imatra sub-region

We spent one night here on our biking tour. The room was old but clean, guests make their own beds, sound isolation non existing. (We woke up several times in the night when other guests walked passed the room or the neighbour used the bathroom. Little ants where living in our room and bed- unpleasant!!! ||Common kitchen with fridge for guests, basic equipment. ||TV and water kettle in the room. ||Majority of guests where Russian. After booking the room, we called the place and booked a sauna raft for the same evening. sauna raft on the beautiful clear water Saimaa beach was a very good experience. We slept the night in the beach fence. It was a night for two and a pet which was affordable. Toilets and washrooms can be found on the ground floor of the main building when staying in the beach fence. Refrigerator in the room. A little warm in the hot weather. A little bit uncared hotel run by Russian manager who is quite helpful and flexible. He had problems take money from my card but agreed if I just leave money in the room in check out. We arrived after 10 pm but he managed to prepare sauna for us even he has already left) sauna was 10€ per hour. Hotel really knew best times and now is rundown but the price is corresponding low.
