B&B Kyykeri Manor — Hotel in Joensuu sub-region

We had a lovely two night stay. The room was spacious and clean, the decor is rustic and romantic with white and neutral palette. The breakfast was gorgeous, especially the homemade Carelian pies. The shared bathrooms and showers are a bit awkward to use in the night but I think we were the only guests in the first floor so it was OK. My only complaint would be that the beautiful curtains don't block the light and my husband found it hard to sleep in the Finnish nightless night. So thicker curtains that block the light would be a great addition for summer. I highly recommend the place. The lady of the maner is super helpful and lovely. I stayed for one night at the Kyykerin Kartano. When I arrived the place looked closed. I had not made a reservation and was not sure I would be able to stay. The B&B is situated in a quiet town. ||I wouldn't say that there's anything overly wrong with the B&B, as the host was lovely, the décor is cool and cosy, breakfast was good and there's a filter coffee machine in the common area. ||But I didn't really like sharing a bathroom and there was also an odd smell in the room.
