Hotelli Kontio — Hotel in Joensuu sub-region

We stopped over here as we couldn't find a family room in Joensuu. They offer a range of different size apartments with a batroom and a complete kitchen. For a budget option they also have small cottages without heating available during the summer. If you don't want to cook your own breakfast, they also have breakfast available for 7€ extra. It is also possible to get some food in the evening from the reception.||||The Kontiolahti "city center" is not far, but more easily reachable by car or free bikes they have at the motel. Joensuu is only a 10-15 minutes...

Sauna and Kota were excellent. Sauna was warmed with the electricity and Kota with wood. So nice thet firewood was free.
